There are times when you want your iPhone camera have certain features that would allow you to take a better photo. Darkroom Pro offers a set of features that will do just that.
Get satisfying results in low light situations:
Ever been in a situation where the dimly lit environment just ruin your photos taken on an iPhone? The Steady Mode will make taking these pictures a lot easier. Once your hand is steady, it will then capture the photo for you. There are four modes for you to choose from, Low, Medium, High or Off to help you achieve a better photo.
Full screen shutter
Self portraits with the default iPhone camera is very difficult. Would you agree? Locating that tiny shutter button while taking the arm's length self portrait, isn't an easy task. The fullscreen shutter feature will make all that easier, just aim and tap anywhere on the screen.
Timer - Group photos
Sometimes, the moment you are capturing just isn't perfect if you're not in the photo. The timer mode allows you to capture that moment from the iPhone.
Share those moments
Don't just keep those photos in your Camera Roll, share them with your friends. Darkroom offers an online photo album for you to upload your photos and share immediately with your friends and family.
Those are just some benefits and suggestions to what you can do with Darkroom Pro.
- Timer mode
- Fullscreen shutter
- Grid Guide
- Online album
- Larger viewing window

What's New in Version 3.5.9
- Fixed black screen problem
- Fixed crash bugs
Gets worse and worse with every update
When I first purchased Camera Pro, I was fairly happy with it, but subsequent updates added annoying pop-up advertising (for a paid app?!!) and dramatically reduced its performance. I missed several good shots because the app is so slow to start up, and several more because it's so slow at saving pictures. Now I've mostly given up on Darkroom Pro - unless I have time to burn, I either use PhotoBurst (which is slow to start up, but takes pictures very quickly) or the built-in Camera application, which isn't nearly as slow to start up and is ridiculously faster at saving pictures.
Incredibly sluggish performance combined with pop-up advertising and other useless junk has ruined this once-useful app.
Not working under OS 5
Still buggy and moreover, there's really no reason to buy Darkroom Pro now that Apple has upgraded the native app.
(re: 3.5.8 I came to this page expecting to see that the makers still hadn't updated for OS 5 compatibility, which would be annoying but still offer some hope. I have no idea what their upgrade did. I can open the app and take a photo, but the app crashes if I try to save it. Very disappointing as I had this app on my task bar. I guess I'm going back to the native Apple app.)
Crashes every time you take a picture
This app hasn't functioned since iOS5 came out, and the "black screen problem" is still not fixed in this version (despite claims to the contrary).
Used to be a great app. Don't know what happened.
