What's New in Version 3.0.5
It works... sort of
It seems to work for the most part, but it has some obvious issues that heavily impact usability.
First and foremost, the video files aren't written to flash until the configured time limit has been reached, which causes a significant slowdown and gap in the recording. Also, that's just a bad programming practice. There's no reason not to open a file handle and write the data to it on an on-going basis.
The GUI completely disappears when any buttons are pressed because the app is obviously thrashing under the hood. It feels like a hardware lockup, but it's not. Any button press causes several painful seconds of looking at nothing. That would have been fine 10 years ago when the hardware sucked, but that's not the case anymore. This is a software issue.
Third, it doesn't record the videos to the phones photo album. They're saved in the app itself, which is very annoying and pointless.
I appreciate the time that went into making this app. It needs some polish, though.
exactly what i was looking for...almost
i ride a motorcycle and i wanted to be able to listen to music through bluetooth and record video at the same time. i tested this with my earphone and that worked but it didn't work with bluetooth. another thing i would like added is an option to include the map, speed and time in the recording. i can't see them while i'm riding and i might want too look at it after.
Don't bother wasting your time
It would be an okay app if it actually saved the videos on your phone, and if it didn't require the app to be open/running, and if it had any instructions. But it doesn't, so it's just another 💩 app!! FYI: to the makers of this app, not all of us are Facebook addicts.
