Rude unhelpful & puts customers at risk
I've used Rinse a few times and the service of pickup/dropoff has been inconsistent but ok. They have lost two of my socks but I figured this is a thing that sometimes happens. However, the last order came back more strongly scented than previous ones and I have now been walking around with a rash all over my legs from wearing pants I sent out in the last order. I have had "hypoallergenic" selected in my preferences since the very beginning and contacted CS asking if they could use a fragrance and dye free detergent as I am allergic to even some detergents that claim to be hypoallergenic including Tide Free and Gentle which once left me calling my doctor for an emergency appt for cortisol because my eyelid had swelled up to the size of a ping pong ball from sleeping ok a pillowcase washed with the detergent. Rinse customer service was dismissive, rude and unhelpful and only repeatedly told me that they do indeed use Tide Free and Gentle as their hypoallergenic option and it is the only option. They are completely unconcerned with their customer well being. Thankfully I only had easy wash and dry items laundered by them and not all of my clothes. Every laundromat and wash & dry I have ever been to in the city has All Free and Clear and most have eco/organic options. They've lost a customer.

Although it’s only been a month, I haven’t had any problems with my clothes being damaged or horrible service (per other reviews I’ve seen on here)
I just love how they text me in the morning to remind me I can get my laundry done/pick up on the same day, then upon arrival I get a text with my valet’s name, and then another text when they’ve arrived. The entrance to my house is not the easiest to get to but with the instructions that I give to the valet, they never seem to have a problem. It’s always such a breeze.
They may not be the cheapest option but I would definitely use them again!
Scheduling means nothing. Doesn’t show up.
I chose to schedule a Rinse pickup and enjoy my weekend instead of spending time at the laundromat. Come the scheduled time on Sunday night, no one comes! I get a text message at 10:15pm saying that the driver missed me? This tells me that they got too busy to make it to my place so they intentionally skipped me. No one called. No one buzzed to get into my building. No one came to my apartment. And then customer service claims that “their records” show that he swung by? Yeah right. Did he just drive by the apartment? Should I have been out front in a lawn chair? These guys are overbooking and screwing customers over.
So now I need to cancel my Monday evening plans and go to the laundromat. Otherwise I don’t have the clothes I need for Thursday. THANKS RINSE.
You guys didn’t start up yesterday. If yo haven’t figured this out by now I don’t think you’re going to.
