Dashlane always is there for me
I used to have three passwords... the IMPORTANT one I used for bank stuff, the so-so one I used for just about every internet site, and The Who-Cares one I used on stuff that I doubted I was really going to keep using but had to have a password to "Sign up." Then life got complicated with literally everything requiring a password, and having to change your password frequently. So, I invented a system for that too. But with all the danger of identity theft and all the security levels at work I needed something better. Dashlane allowed me to go to really safe passwords AND allowed me a way to have secure access to them on multiple work stations, at home, and on my mobile devices. I've never had a problem with losing or forgetting a password if I go through Dashlane to establish it and sign in once. Dashlane remembers and coordinates it amongst my various access points.
Loyal Customer for 2+ Years
I was given a trial of the product as my co-worker managed a piece of their marketing business. I tried it for its basic functionalities and quite honestly, that is why I still use it. I have seemingly a million accounts and with the added complexities sites are imposing, it makes it hard to keep track. There's nothing more frustrating than trying to get something done quickly, to then need to go through the "Forgot Password" exercise.
Enter Dashlane. It's great because it allows you to quickly access all your password and sync on any device. If you don't like the auto-Fil feature, you can disable and just quickly look up the site on your Dashlane app on your phone or tablet. All you need to do is unlock the app with your Master Password. It makes life so much easier and I don't feel like I need to worry about remembering all my passwords.
- Auto Fil makes it easy to just log in as soon as you get to the site.
- You can generate a safe password should you choose. This is probably the best way to go.
- again, it syncs across your devices so you only need to update it once. And it asks you when it detects a change so you simply click a button to replace the existing password.
I'm sure I'm missing a lot but I would highly recommend this to a friend, family member or colleagues.
Life Changer!
I've had this app (and software on PC) for a year now and I cannot what my life would be like today without it. As the number of passwords I have to maintain for personal and work, it was becoming overwhelming. Dashlane has simplified my life and definitely increased my productivity at work, as I access about 20 password protected sites per day in my administrative and banking functions at work. I almost rated it 4 stars only because my business partner complains that the add-in on his laptop doesn't always auto start and he has to completely reboot to get Dashlane to auto fill in his browser...but since this could be user error or settings related, I will give the developers the benefit of the doubt, since the convenience it has added to my life is so significant!
