Data tracker for mobile internet use
Great app, I set this app up at my 5 gigabyte of monthly high speed data from my carrier. I can track how my data is doing and determine when and for how long I can use my iPhone as a hotspot for my iPad. That's very handy. The other app they launched recently is "Wi-Fi Man" that tracks your Wi-Fi data (Helpful to track your iPod or iPad when using your phone as a hotspot for them that way you know when to turn of their hotspot uplink). Using this app my connection only slows down when I'm in an where my carrier doesn't have high speed network service.
DataMan You are the Man for Data
This App has been awesome. It's accuracy has been excellent as well. My mobile carrier has delayed usage but not Data Man. I highly recommend this App. Love the billing cycle ending notifications. Would be nice to have an hourly, daily and weekly breakdown. Just a total usage does not give a good clear picture of usage. In addition to the reminder that your preset billing period is ending, it would be nice for the application to automatically reset the usage counter at the end of the preset billing period.
What the default iOS usage tracking should do
This app is great for tracking your data usage. iOS does have this capability, but it's buried and not automatically set per month. I just hope they're right in saying there's no need for privacy concerns.
