Temporarily imperfect
It was always great and super helpful, although lately the app has started to not count data for a while and then it'll resume eventually. It's nothing to do with background work either, as I'm opening the app and it still won't update. If I restart my phone or wait a few hours, it'll come back. If this becomes fixed, I'll give it a 4 star.
I'd like to be able to add people for a shared plan since that's the most likely setup for people these days. If we had that feature, I'd bump it to 5.

My family's data plan has been flagged for overage a few times and it always involves a huge spike at the end of the billing period. I downloaded this app last month and, although alerted to a large overage a few days ago, DataMan said I had used barely half my allotted amount. Very suspicious and confirms my belief that someone is stealing my data. I just wish I could include all data devices on our plan to get a better picture.
Always there counting me out of trouble.
Keeps doing a great job helping me stay in data plan limits and identifying apps that are consuming lots of cell data. Simple tally of usage, clear projection for month-end. Keeps up with OS upgrades just fine.
