Great idea, needs work
The app really is a very good idea to help those who are at risk of overdrafting. My bank charges $38 for overdrafts and that has really hurt me at times when my balance is obviously critically low.
Despite the good intentions, the hoops I have to jump through to become eligible for an advance are simply too great. I am completely uncomfortable with sending 3 months of bank statements over email. The accounting department at my job refuses to and highly discourages sending financial information over emails, as we are all familiar with the possibility of emails being hacked or intercepted. I take their advice very seriously. And not to mention I'd have to give the app my social security number and most of my personal information along with it to get an advance.
Another thing that scares me, considering that some banks allow much easier access to your account for the app, is how easy it is for someone to take out these advances that they potentially couldn't afford. I can't speak much on the matter as my bank did not allow easy access to the advances.
In summary, I think the idea is great and noble, but could've been executed better.
Concept is great if it worked for all
Would gladly revise my rating if the app did not have an AP error that prevented me from verifying my information. Contacted customer service which was quick to reply, but they had no solution and did not give me time frame of when solution would happen, just that it was a common problem.
Been a week now app continues to crash completely. Before introducing a new app they should try and fix major bugs. So now reducing my rating because app is complete garbage and doesn't work. Just a note, we tried installing app on friends phone and he tried it and got same errors with his information.

It does everything as it should. It asks you a lot of personal questions in the beginning to verify your identity. This company is safe; they don't want to jeopardize your identity in the hands of someone trying to benefit off of your name and your numbers. I appreciate that.
I like that Donating or tipping Dave a small percentage about $5, is going towards planting a couple of trees.
