My thoughts on this game

I got this game earlier this year (about 6-7 months ago) and it was fun. The UI was unique and there was much to do. I pretty much focused on better armor, weapons, and vehicles. The way to craft is great. The only reason I uninstalled it was because the fuel. Last I checked there was no way to craft fuel, the only way to get it was either to buy it (not too expensive) or get it from gas stations, which were mostly east where the enemies were more difficult. The stations weren’t enough to keep my ZIL-30 on the go. I would go from my cabin that was a little north east of Moscow and go on major supply runs each day. I could go a few weeks on the fuel I bought until the first major UI update. I tried getting used to it which didn’t take long, but the fuel changed. I could go 4x less the distance in my ZIL on a full tank. This made me bring more fuel, then I had less space. Sorry about my rambling but if you get the chance, set up just north east of Moscow to avoid bigger enemies, the worst being irradiated mountain lions. But a Mosin takes care of them well. If they add a makeshift fuel system I might give it 5 stars and re-download

Impressive and caught me off guard

When I saw the title, I thought, oh wow it's another "survival ripoff wannabe". But I still have it a shot. First impressions of the game I thought, ew crappy graphics and bad UI?! But once the story kicked in and I started getting the hang of it, it got really fun. I love how it's entirely open world but you are given a direction but it is up to you on how to get there. When you get the game the map looks like potato, until you zoom out and realize how massive the game really is. I also love how they did the survival, you actually have to go loot to learn on how to play the game. The city's are exciting to travel to because you never know what they have. It could be just ruins or a hospital and a couple of stores. The game also has a variety on items and a skill tree that progresses AS YOU LEARN! Which is amazing, the skill tree takes very little time and effort to level up. There's shovels and alarm clocks that have a purpose.

All in all 10/10 give this game a try and you'll get sucked in. Great time consumer with lots of fun

Fun but impossible to win

Nuclear war is fun !!!

This game is impossible to win. All the cars are all non functional and there is no way my character can walk all the way to Vladivostok on foot, with radiation and wild animals without dying. They are also problems were the tools to cook food or boil water are lacking, but I should have the tools. Then my character due to this glitch has to drink highly polluted or radioactive water, which causes there radiation level and tiredness level to get very close to fatal. And then you have traveled several hundred miles to beyond the Kola Pennisula and you’re like what the heck. Now due to this bug, I lost my progress and have to start all over again. If these glitches were fixed, then it would be better than 2 stars. But for now, that is the best it will do. Please fix the game. Developers if you read this review, fix the game and do it now.
