DayMap is a visual planning app which helps you plan your days and weeks for optimum productivity. The project outliner places your projects side by side in columns so that you can see more information with less scrolling.
The calendar located below the project outliner makes it easy to schedule important todo’s.

- System-wide keyboard shortcut to quickly add new tasks to inbox without having to switch apps.
- Create deep hierarchies of tasks with subtasks.
- View all your projects and tasks at a glance.
DayMap helps you make the most of every day, every week.
We are interested in hearing what you think, so share your feedback with us on our website.

Exaclty what I was looking for. I tried many apps, also with Online Login and really glad that DayApp popped up in the end. There are a few little things missing, but will give 5 stars and hope developers are not stopping here. Please add the possibility of printing each project individually.
Really Useful App
I’ve been using DayMap for about two weeks now. I poked around for quite awhile online and this app was the closest to the print day planner books I had previously been using. I really like that this app has project to-do lists inside of a calendar approach. I’ve never found straight to-do lists useful because they just list what needs to be done but don’t help me really organize WHEN to do the various tasks within a list. Instead, I like to look at my projects and to-dos and assign them to upcoming days on my calendar so I can budget my time and actually get things done. DayMap lets me do this.
I like that this app is based on my computer (MacBook Air) rather than strictly in the cloud and so I don’t need to be on the internet to use it. You can link it up to your iPhone via iCloud if your phone is on ios8. I haven’t upgraded my phone to that yet, so I can’t comment on how the syncing works. I’ve been told that they are looking into a DropBox syncing option which would actually be my own personal perference for syncing.
I find that it is easy to add tasks and subtasks and to move them to another day when needed and to check them off as completed. I upgraded from the DayMap Lite version to the full version for the repeating tasks option which I use a lot.
There are a few things that I’d like to see added to tweak this app, including being able to include unique text descriptions in individual repeating tasks instead of the same text description for all description boxes within a repeating task and some slight tweaking in how archived projects are displayed in the calendar. I sent feedback with my suggestions and got a very nice response within twenty-four hours that gave me the feeling that they were open to customer suggestions and that they do plan to continue to improve the app. So all around, I’m pleased.
