Have you ever been confused by your day planner? Do you think and plan visually? We created DayMap because we believe visual people deserve an organizer tailored to their strengths.

DayMap is a visual planning app which helps you plan your days and weeks for optimum productivity. The project outliner places your projects side by side in columns so that you can see more information with less scrolling.

The calendar located below the project outliner makes it easy to schedule important todo’s.

- Sync your DayMap data between your Mac and iPhone (or any iOS Device) thanks to integrated iCloud sync support! (Requires iOS 8 or later and Mac OS X Yosemite or later)
- System-wide keyboard shortcut to quickly add new tasks to inbox without having to switch apps.
- Create deep hierarchies of tasks with subtasks.
- View all your projects and tasks at a glance.

DayMap helps you make the most of every day, every week.

We are interested in hearing what you think, so share your feedback with us on our website.

Visually appealing, logical, flexible

Showing a range of projects and tasks together with a calendar, and making it easy to schedule tasks by drag and drop, is an appealing way to keep track of and plan tasks. But the program could be even better: for instance, it would be nice to be able to add a series of tasks quickly, to slide the calendar along by day (for, say, dragging and dropping a task to next week), and to focus on a day at a time rather than always seeing a day in the context of the whole week. I’d also like to see an iPad app (the developer is working on this)—the companion iPhone app has a very different look and feel from this desktop app.

The Best Time/Project Scheduler I’ve Ever Used.

Finally, I can see all the plates i’m spinning at once, and effortlessly arrange them, plan them, and work on them simultaneously. Thank you so much for such an intelligent design. I’ve paid a lot more money for organizers that are more confusing than they are useful. Awesome fresh layout. Great Job.

Update - new version

This latest update allows you to see in the upper (project) portion the first line of any note you have for the task. It’s a helpful reminder that there is more information that you wanted to remember.

The calendar sync is a great addition. I don’t use Apple Calendar but I do have my Google Calendar synced with Apple Calendar so everything shows up. My two favorite features are the keyboard shortcut that lets you quickly add tasks no matter what program or screen you are in and being able drag tasks to new projects or dates. The colors make it easy to group each day’s tasks by project in the calendar or you can move tasks up or down within a day according to your current priorities or move them to a different day.

Because the notes field is searchable you can use it to create your own tags. I enter the word “errand” in notes to keep track across various projects of things I need to do while I am out and about. It would be nice if there was a way to easily identify repeating tasks, however I use a symbol at the beginning of each repeating task that lets me to quickly identify it as having a repeat set and that works quite well. The one thing I would definitely like to see in a future edition is having the date on repeating tasks update to the next due date once the task is completed. Now the date remain as the date the repeating task was first scheduled (which could be months ago) making scanning the calendar week by week looking for the highlighted task the only way to find the next due date.
