From Cytus team, a world acclaimed music rhythm game.
Rayark brings you Deemo, a hybrid of music rhythm game and the story of urban fantasy, with hand-drawn art, story-telling gallery and real instrumental feedback of piano key sound.

Deemo is a mystic character who lives in solitude in a castle all by itself. A little girl falls from the sky, not knowing who she is, where she comes from. To help the little girl back to her world, Deemo comes to realize a tree keeps growing tall on top of the piano whenever it plays. What would Deemo do when it gets comfortable with the companionship it never had before? What if the little girl couldn't deal with the truth when her seemingly lost memories regained?!

I think there are enough positive reviews already, but one more couldn’t hurt. I first saw this game, and to be honest, I was skeptical about it. I downloaded it for the fun of it, and could not stop playing. The songs in here are beautiful. They are masterpieces, each one you can tell that someone poured their heart into it. Sure, not all songs are to my liking, (namely Jumpy Star- what is up with that song?) but that’s just me. Secondly, the art. It is incredible. Each song has its own, incredibly detailed drawing that I’m sure somebody spent hours on. The art pops off the page, and pulls you back with it. The storyline is a whole different matter. It is a compelling story, and it is split up across the game. The ending was incredible, and sad, and I’ve watched it over and over. Now, I hate to do this, but I have one minor disclaimer: it is very hard to get 100% on a song. Now, this is not the goal of the game, but I was ambitious and wanted to try it. To get one hundred percent, you have to hit every single note, which I have done in a number of songs. But that’s not all. You have to hit every single note right on the line. It would be considered a charming hit to do that. Certain songs like magnolia and myosotis are to complex to even begin trying this. But overall this is the best mobile, no, best game I have ever purchased in my life.

Fun but frustrating

This game peaked my interest by including a wide variety of fun songs and challenging rhythms and setting it all to a wonderful, albeit minimal, storyline. Don’t get me wrong, Deemo is a wonderful game and I don’t regret buying it. That being said, as I’ve gotten further along in the game, my desire as a completionist to finish songs with full “charming” combos has brought about a small sense of loathing. The game is waaaaay too finicky about what counts as a charming note or not, especially considering it doesn’t include a musical staff and it doesn’t count measures. You can only fully complete a song through either experimenting with timing, fully memorizing the song by playing it over and over, or by somehow managing to perfectly set your synchronization (the settings there are awful and confusing). If you don’t care about charming and just enjoy getting full combos, that’s still perfectly doable for the average driven player. However, you have to go the extra 500 miles (or be extremely talented/lucky) to even have a chance with charming. Still a great game, sorry if this review/essay makes it sound otherwise.

I'm speechless

I was not expecting that ending. I recently finished the game within a few days and it's definitely one of the more memorable ones, if not the most beautiful mobile game you'll surely remember the journey to.
Deemo is a rhythm game, with different available collections of albums and songs to each with three difficultly modes-easy, normal and hard. As you fly through the beautiful songs, the tree will continue to grow and then the stairs until Deemo returns to her world. The game has amazing songs, plot, ending, a gorgeous art style and is addictive.
If you want to move on faster, there will be rooms you can enter after unlocking it with glowing orbs that'll spawn, which gives you extra height for the tree/staircase. Also after some period of time, you'll need to go through the different rooms to activate things.

I absolutely love Deemo and it's definitely my favorite. I strongly recommend that you experience this wonderful journey with Deemo and little girl. And I applaud you if you aren't moved by this masterpiece.
