Welcome to the long-awaited sequel to the popular action/strategy game! New weapons, landscapes, and options galore! Every game session is now even more dynamic and amazing.

The core of the game is still the same: entire armies of enemies rush at your defenses, trying to destroy them by any means necessary. But now they’re even more powerful and madder than ever.

You’ll have access to older, time-tested turrets, as well as completely new types of weapons. It’s up to you to decide how to spend your available budget. Should you build new towers or upgrade and fortify the ones you already have? Turrets vary in terms of their attack range, firing speed, and damage type. The only way to win is to combine them so that they complement and strengthen one another.

The flexible difficulty settings will allow every player to get as much enjoyment out of the game as possible. If you’re an experienced commander, you’ll love the merciless, intense battles where the countdown where even a fraction of a second is vital to success and everything hinges on your ability to choose and arrange your turrets wisely. If you’re a new player, you’ll easily be able to train and prepare yourself for serious battles.

Either way, the thoughtfully designed maps and wide range of available turrets will provide you with virtually endless tactical options. Thanks to the stunning, detailed landscapes, painstakingly drawn towers, and incredible special effect, you won’t be able to take your eyes off the screen.

All aspects of the game have been meticulously balanced, including tower statistics, enemy strength, terrain characteristics, and special weapons. You’ll never get bored by too-easy gameplay. Every level will challenge you. Are you ready to accept the challenge?

• Graphics resolution in Ultra HD (4K)
• Four difficulty levels
• Eight kinds of turrets
• Eight special abilities, from Air Strikes to Nuclear Bombs
• Varied seasons and types of landscapes
• Support for over 20 languages

Fun game, very well done

Is this nickname also taken 6?

This is indeed more difficult than the previous version, but the challenge is fun. You don’t really have to buy extras, just be patient while thinking carefully about how to deploy your existing resources most effectively. The game, graphics etc are very well done. This is not just the previous version with a few extra levels tacked on.

The one thing I miss from the previous version is the ability to save the game at specific points. I might be missing something obvious due to the UI rearrangement. If a particular wave is going badly, and you want start, just quit and come back into it and it will pick up from the beginning of that wave, so all is not lost, but the manual save was nice to have.

Great Game with Challenge

I read these reviews about it being too tough…not true. Being a die hard TD fan, I enjoy the challenges. I do not buy the in-game benefits. I play it out and have had immense fun working through the stages and adjusting my strategy. It is tough. It may take 100 tries to get a perfect on Nightmare. I believe that is the point of strategy games. Cant wait for additional updates!

Note on the 1.2.1 update…my screen is continuously flickering no matter the resolution I have it set to. Running a 2017 MacBook Pro. Please fix it!

Very Unbalanced Difficulty

This version of Defense Zone is much harder than version 2. The easy setting on this is above the hard setting in version 2. I can not get past level 10 (I’VE GIVEN UP AFTER 6 HOURS OF TRYING) as it is much to hard and unbalanced, and I’m trying on the easy setting. Good luck on the harder settings. The developer should address and correct this in any upcoming updates. And bring back the time clock as it was usefull to see what time it is while playing. There are other bugs such as when clicking on a weapon and the range ring/halo appears, you can click on other weapons and the rings stay instead of canceling out and going to only the unit selected, and the screen is littered with rings stacked upon each other making it difficult to see the battle field. At this point, I feel like I wasted $ and have gone back to version 2.
