App needs HELP!
Wow. For such a good credit union I am surprised their app is so horrible. Limited options to control your bank account. Also a pain to log into for the first time. It gave me login questions BEFORE I could input my password because it's a new phone, and it "doesn't recognize" my device as one I have used before. The security questions don't apply very well and are very vague. I am also having the same issue on my computer because it also doesn't recognize my computer. I literally have to wait until their office is open to reset my password, which I know but was never allowed to input because of the dumb security questions. I thought the point of the app was to be able to Have access whenever you needed it. This is not the first time this has happened. I have only had this app for 6 minutes months and I never use it because I hate it. I use another bank's app and they have high security, but it is not this difficult to use. They should model their app after Bank of American Fork's apps. Seriously DFCU's app is cheap and unhelpful.
Easy to navigate.
Soooo easy to navigate and transfer funds between accounts; as in, the interface is intuitive. So: user friendliness, a perfect 10/10. Speed I give it a 4/10 most days, but on the good days I give it a 6/10 and on bad days I give it a 0/10. It just completely crashes sometimes. Also it’s a little weird how if I just checked my balance and want to transfer funds, I have to close the app out and open it again, because when I return to my dash the “transfer” option isn’t available anymore once I’ve checked my balance.
But that said- yes. Way to go on easiness to navigate that’s a tough one to nail, I think. Good work. Well laid out and intuitive, just how I like it.
Push Notification Improvements
The newly added push notification is just what I was waiting for! However, there could still be some improvements made to perfect it. If the notifications had a chime and/or vibration when they came through along with a badge app icon it would be perfect.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
