On level 7135 and crying
Obviously I love this game, but I am completely stuck on this level. I cannot get a good angle or reach far enough to crest the hill. Someone please help or update and eliminate this impossible level. I had a 3.75 average until this hole. I am heartbroken.
I see several comments about sticky vs slippery surfaces. All surfaces are sticky if you approach them at a shallow angle, even vertical ones. That was my problem. I could not get a shallow angle on level 7135.i finally did it, though, after 312 strokes. Moving on now... Yippee.
Now I am in dire need of skipping level 9299. I made 1576 strokes and cannot land the ball in the hole. I think it is impossible. HELP please.
What word describes this game?
There are so many words you could use to describe this game, but none of them individually would do the experience of playing the game justice. So I'll let you experience them for yourself, and you can make your own ideas.
I will say that this game is exactly what it says it is. However, for such a simplistic game, I found it extremely thought provoking. And this game does not skimp on gameplay, believe me- no cutscenes, no tutorials, not even a single menu- just you and a simple (yet very satisfying and addicting) game of golf. Like I said, it is exactly what it says it is... And also is not. Non sequitur.
Just buy this game already.
Very simple, very fun
I'm fond of games that you can just launch, play, and put down, without a lot of complications. This fits that. It's beautifully simple. The graphics remind me of the Atari 2600, but the gameplay and physics are nice and smooth. The objective is simple: get the ball in the hole. There are no items to buy, no ads, no stickers, no fanfare or interruptions. You can't even go back to old holes. You just have to play through what's there. As such, it's a perfect "standing in line at ..." game.
So many games distract with their premium currency, social interactions, applause and rewards for doing the simplest of things. This is none of that. Just a desert, and some golfing. Nothing else.
