What is Sitting Disease?
The term "Sitting Disease" has been coined by the scientific community and is commonly used when referring to metabolic syndrome and the ill-effects of an overly sedentary lifestyle. However, the medical community does not recognize Sitting Disease as a diagnosable disease at this time.
Negative Effects of Sitting Disease:
According to a study done by the American Cancer Society between 1993 - 2006, men who were inactive and sat over 6 hours daily were 48% more likely to die than those who were physically active and sat less than 3 hours a day. Women who were inactive and sat over 6 hours a day were 94% more likely to die than those who were physically active and sat less than 3 hours a day.

Just a timer
Does not give notification of when to stretch. Also, it only has a list of stretches and exercises that you can choose from. Would benefit from having proper notification of break times and a series of activities to perform at those times.
finally an app that easily repeats a 30 minute timer. Very simple to use. Needs some alarm settings though. Only notification is a beep, easily missed.
Not what it’s advertised as. I’d like my $1 back.
I searched for “standing desk timer” - something that will time how long I have been standing versus sitting and tally the totals for me over a week, etc. The description leads you to believe that this is what this is. It’s not. It’s a timer. That’s it.
