If you want to reclaim tens of gigabytes of your storage used for various Xcode caches - this tool is for you!
Xcode could store tens of gigabytes in ~/Library/Developer folder. Most of those cached files & symbols are not reclaimed over time and could consume a large amount of your storage, which is especially important if you have relatively small SSD drive.
Xcode Cleaner gives you an easy way to inspect auto-generated files and clean them if necessary. It could also remind you about scan after a while.
This update brings following improvements:
- Fixed possible issue with not recognizing user home folder properly
- Hardened runtime enabled
Ratings and Reviews
While this same functionality exists in Xcode, it’s nice that you’re able to see exactly how much space is being consumed and that you can delete it all at once. I highly recommend this product for any Xcode developer out there!
Does what it says on the tin.
It even has a dry run mode which is much appreciated.
One suggestion would be to allow the user to change the path that is used during the scan in case you change it later.
This really helped me. I tried a number of other tools but this was very clear and concise and I was able to reciver 44gb in a matter of minutes!
