Ratings and Reviews

Wonderful App, Terrible to Sync with other apps

I love this app and it's really great as a sketch pad, but because of the buggy MIDI clock and Ableton Link it's too difficult to get this connected to other apps which was one of the things I'd really wanted from this app. Huge let down.

That being said, every time I open this thing, I usually get something decent going in under 5 minutes. It's a good app that REALLY needs some work on debugging. Happy to Beta test!

Well Done

The most fun I have ever had with an electronic device is using Dhalang.

Excellent complete suite of sections that can each be used to shape sounds, with microtonal generation.

A rather steep learning curve, but worth it.

Mr Kivelä is to be lauded.

The closest thing to Absynth on iOS (not for those who lack patience) True geek app 🤓

When I stumbled on this app this morning there weren't any reviews. Checked out the free version and was a little put off since it lacked functionality that I wanted to test. Watched some of the demo videos on the devs website and then spent the $20 and hoped for the best. Ummmm whoa!!!! Talk about depth! This app is not for the faint of heart or those in need of instant preset gratification. This is a sonic playground that will leave your imagination dancing with its possibilities. I've taken my iPad pros battery from 100% to 30% playing with this today. The interface becomes a lot less intimidating once you understand the flow. It's actually very intuitive and I can tell the time and thought placed into developing this was not rushed. A couple of bug fixes and user control enhancements and this will be an absolute five star app. I love the particle and control systems. So much awesomeness! I hope the synth community adopts this gem with open arms. It's a pretty special groundbreaking release for iOS.
