Fully Featured Release - still a FREE unlimited version!
Are you a diabetic? Do you need to track the glucose readings, food intake, and medicine records of a diabetic? Then this is the app for you.
As a Type-1 diabetic, I've spent my life having to track all of this information on a daily basis, and I've spend many years looking for the perfect application to record it all. And finally, I've had a chance to write one.
This early version of the application has most of the basic features, but I plan to implement more exciting features beyond the "basic needs" as time goes on. This is where I need feedback from other users.
- Export of records (CSV over e-mail)
- User-selectable span of records to view
- Recording for Glucose, Medicine, and Food
- Editing of medication types and/or record classifications
As an early release, I'm offering this application for free, to get quality constructive feedback from folks to help guide development. I expect to charge a modest sum when I'm confident the application has reached a sufficient level of quality.
Great thanks to the reviews and support I have recieved so far. The app is nearly complete now, in my opinion, but still basic. Soon it will be even better!
What's New in Version 0.97.5
- Incorrect Glucose value caused erroneous display and/or crash. Fixed.
I really love the simplicity of this app. My endocrinologist kept saying she doesn't want all the other "junk" thats always showing up with other apps. She only wants my glucose levels, carb intake and how much insulin I took for a correction and/or for carbs. However, I think it would be very helpful if you could list things together. For example, log all at once your blood sugar, what you ate and how much insulin you took. It's too time consuming to log blood sugar, then re-log carbs, then re-log insulin taken. Plus when emailing it lists them all separately. Also, it would be very helpful to have a spot for a correction insulin dose plus your insulin dose for your carbs. I really like this app and being an insulin pump user I need something simple and to the point!!! I will keep this app around and remain hopeful :)
This is a super app and does just what I need in simple, easy-to-use way. I'm a long way from needing the medicine part and I track my food elsewhere, but the part I use - for glucose monitoring - is really terrific, and I have no doubt the other parts are too. A couple suggestions for the author: please add a feature that shows the 7 day, 14 day, and 30 day average. My glucose monitor does that. Also, a classification of "Fasting" in addition to the other types / times of day ("Breakfast", "After Breakfast", etc) is essential. Thanks for a great app!
Doesn't have all insulin
It's a good idea but I think they should have ALL the insulins listed. They don't have levemir so can't really track my long acting insulin. And it should have more functions like recording exercise and ketones and stuff like that. And should have some kind of better log where you can click like blood sugar log, long acting long, short acting log, exercise log and just stuff like that where it's not all mixed up together. And I think they should show your average blood sugar and like the average amount of insulin per day. And idk make it way more efficet. I think they could make this app alot better.
