NOTE: Due to a change in Mavericks, the current version of Dialogue is not able to save your recorded calls. We are working hard to fix this issue. Our apologies for the inconvenience!

Dialogue is a simple Mac application that uses bluetooth to connect your Mac with your phone. It allows you to answer and make normal phone calls over your Mac. It’s as simple as that.

After connecting your phone, Dialogue warns you for incoming calls. You can also search a contact from your addressbook or type in a phone number to make a call. Furthermore, Dialogue lets you record your conversations to play them over and over again.

What's New in Version 1.2.1

· Temporary removed the record button as we are working on a fix.
· Auto reconnect fix
· Added Korean localization

Customer Reviews

Its Simple, Well Intergrated, But Needs Some Work.

This app is pretty neat in its eary phase. Phone Amego has alot more features, but almost too much and is a hog on my system. A few featuers I would love to are • Apple Script Support • A Phone Dailer • Better Audio Support (Problems with both my Macbook Pro and my Apple Thunderbolt Display) • Intergration with Notifacation Center • Growl Support so that I can Push the call notifcation to other devices (ie. XBMC on my TV) • Show Phone Numbers that are not in your phone book rather then unknown.

With all the features it is lacking, the core is there and works great. I often leave my phone in the other room, or on silent so having a dialog popup when someone calls is neat. The price point is a bit high and was tempted to use the MyPhoneDesktop app, but your solution is much much cleaner. With a few extra features it will be a 5 star for sure.

Why so many issues with such a simplistic app?

Half the time my incoming call ring tone is a booming static sound, which is twice the fun when wearing headphones. EVERY person I have tried to talk to through my MacBook has asked me to switch to my real phone since they can’t understand me. The only time the app seems to work somewhat is when my iPhone is next to my MacBook pro but then that defeats the purpose of the app. I know Bluetooth has a limited range, but having my phone 10 feet away shouldn’t be a problem. All this in addition with the app crashing is ridiculous.

There’s no way to make an outgoing call from the Mac

This app is ok, but it’s lacking the one feature I was looking for. Receiving calls on the mac is nice, but there’s no way to make an outgoing call. You can search your contacts, but click to your hearts content, that call is not going to happen. What’s the point of even have access to contacts if you can’t dial out? I didn’t waste $7, but I don’t feel like I got the app I was expecting.
