The Dice App is an easy to use application that lets you roll random numbers using d2, d3, d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20, d100, or a custom virtual dice with modifiers and multiple rolls built into one button click. It also shows results in a history for easy reference during a gaming session. This application uses a random function that is seeded differently each time the application starts to ensure very good pseudo random results.
What's New in Version 2.0
New custom dice, now the user can select any sided virtual dice they want to roll.
This app needs visual improvement, but it accesses the kernal random generator (see various levels of development for UNIX systems of /dev/random) and changes the seed each roll. While the results are psuedo-random, they test well. If one wants to be entertained by seeing tumbling dice, well, that's another level of appreciation quite aside from the high-quality pseudo-random numeric results. A help file containing a technical/scientific explanation would be welcomed.
This should be free. What a terrible app. No virtual dice just numbers in a hard to interpret equation. DO NOT BUY. WASTE OF MONEY!
