Underground Service Alert of Southern California (USA/SC) aka DigAlert was formed on September 13, 1976 in response to a deadly accident that had taken place in Culver City three months earlier. A petroleum pipeline was accidentally breached by a construction crew working on Venice Blvd and the resulting explosion took the lives of nine people. Additionally, an entire city block was burned to the ground and millions of dollars in damages were caused by this incident. The spark that ignited this deadly inferno quickly became the impetus behind a movement to prevent these tragic accidents. USA/SC is the result of that effort and has been serving this part of California ever since.

Seen 'em all at Midnight

I hoped this app would link Me right into schematics for what is buried on my property. Too much to ask. It did give me the info I needed and a form I filled out on the app contacted the right entities, in order for me to move forward with my landscaping plans. So overall, this is extremely helpful! I wish it had phone numbers for the various entities I need to check with.

Great app

This app makes renewing dig tickets a breeze. We can do it anytime of day and know that our tickets are being taken care of.

Doesn't work. *new update!

Confused while driving

Keeps getting booted off as soon as I load it.

*works now after update. Great app!
