Be in charge of your personal data!
Your personal data belongs to you and you alone should get to decide who else can use it.
Use digi.me to automatically import your personal data from thousands of different sources and later on decide who else can use it.
Why share it? Because sharing with others unlocks fantastic opportunities. Companies want to know you better and now need your consent to look at your personal data. Digi.me helps you give and manage consent. This means you’ll always know who’s using your personal data.
Right now we have importers for over 15,000 services including:
# Finance and Banking
• Thousands of banks worldwide
# Fitness and Wellbeing
# Medical Records
• Iceland Department of Health
• Hundreds of US Hospitals
# Social Media, Entertainment and Interests
• UK DVLA MOT History
We take your privacy very seriously, so your data will be encrypted using a password only you know. In addition, your data is not stored on our servers. Instead, you keep it in a place you control. That’s currently Dropbox, Google Drive or Microsoft One Drive to gives you peace of mind and the ability to access your content from all your devices.
Digi.me does not see, touch, or hold your data, ever.
So what can you do with your personal data once you’ve gathered it together in your digi.me?
We have an active community of developers building new exciting apps and updating existing apps that place data respect front and centre. This means that you will see other apps powered by the digi.me platform. These apps will all ask you for your consent to access your personal data within their apps before processing anything, all this can be managed from within your digi.me app.
Aside from this, you can immediately use your digi.me to do so much including:
• Quickly finding a photo you posted years ago
• Searching for specific workouts
• Creating saved search queries to find all the recipes you pinned or liked
• Seeing all the photos a friend liked
• Seeing how much you spend at one place, or how much you spend eating out!
• Searching for a merchant or specific transaction amount
• Searching through captions and comments across all connected sources
• Re-sharing photos and posts
• Getting daily flashbacks of what you were up to years back
Still here? Install digi.me already and take your first step to be in charge of your personal data.
We are improving and optimizing the way your data is stored in your cloud file system. This is in preparation for even more new and interesting data sources which will be added soon. When you open digi.me the first time after installing this update you will start the upgrade process.
Your content remains completely safe during this time but certain library functions will be unavailable (adding or deleting sources or changing your password being the big ones).
Aside from this we’ve added support for a few more US hospitals, made it easier to see what else you can do with your data and fixed a few bugs. Here's some of them:
• Fixed an elusive bug where the amount of social data would be imported inconsistently. All social data is now imported correctly
• Made several major improvements to sync logic, resulting in data appearing faster
• Improved error handling for sync logic, resulting in sync retrying or finishing, but not hanging
• Fixed a crash that would sometimes occur when performing a search
• Who comments most now also includes posts with comments from Instagram
• Fixed a crash that would sometimes occur when using the Quick Slider
• Updated the way account names are displayed on the account tiles
• Empty Spotify playlists are now displayed
• Fixed a bug where the contract would sometimes be shown over the alert view
• Social account tiles now update their information much faster
• Fixed a crash that would occur when requesting a contract

Disappointed after re-install... MAJOR issue
10/10 - Update. I've deleted the app and re-installed... and the major problem continues. This time, I only connected my Facebook vs. last time, when I connected all my social media plus financial accounts. Wasn't going to waste my time again.
A) It does not pick up new postings after the initial loading, which seems to be somewhat random. B) No idea/explanation about how it decides how far back it picks up. C) there is still no FAQ section, which would explain better how it works.
I really, really want this to work and I'm surprised that it was recommended by a tech writer at NYTimes, considering the flaws. It's user-interface is very nice, but if the app isn't useful, it's just a pretty face.
After spending quite a bit of time giving it access to all the accounts that would make it useful... It has NOT updated that info. Facebook posts, tweets, bank transactions, etc. are all static and not changed since first time/day.
Their support people have been responsive, but not been able to correct the issue.
The app also miscategorizes expenses and there is NO way to correct. And there are few directions on how to do things.
I will give it another week and then delete.
I'm really sorry you're still experiencing issues. Quick responses: A) the first sync currently focuses on getting all data and whilst doing that, doesn't look out for new content. Once first full sync is successful, new content would appear with each pull to refresh (we will be improving this so you never have to wait for new content). B) we attempt to sync every post you've ever made, if it's still available. C) we've been slack with our new FAQ section; this is a priority for us.
We pushed some changes to our sync engine last night, addressing the syncing of new transactions issue with bank transactions so that should work for you now. We have hit a couple of issues with some Facebook accounts and would love if you could shake your device with digi.me open to send us a log. This will help us identify if the sync engine is failing. Thanks for your perseverance.
Hey. Really sorry your first experience with the app wasn't great. We are currently isolating issues with bank imports so we can get them working for everyone. In the meantime you could try to remove the bank account (settings > tap on account > remove) and add it again. There also will be a way to recategorise expenses in the near future; for now hopefully the ability to quickly search for a transaction will provide some value. We will be in touch through support when we have an update for you.
Let’s you log in to some accounts then only option is ‘Cancel’ so it doesn’t save. Then your just scrolling through pics of your posts. Lame.
Hey, sorry you couldn't see any immediate value to the app. It's meant to be a unified place for the content you generate, be that photos you post or like, transactions you make, your fitness activities and we're just testing music you listen to and medical records. Lots more to come. The app, as it is now, simply provides a really quick way to find any of this content, and is ready to help you manage the sharing of specific pieces of content, if you find you need to. Would love to know how you found out about digi.me and what you were hoping to get from it. This will help us make sure we're explaining it correctly! Thanks in advance, Pascal
Can’t beat onboarding :-(
I get a ‘more storage needed’ error when connecting my Gmail despite having an Unlimited Google Apps account...
Thank you AppStrategist, good catch! As a result of your feedback, we have been able to fix it today. You should now be able to start over and beat the onboarding!
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
