Ratings and Reviews
I absolutely LOVE Digit!
I discovered Digit back in March 2018 & I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t skeptical at first. A lot of the negative reviews made me very nervous to try it out when I first started out, but I’m a customer for life, now! Digit helps me make sure that I’m saving money, & I really don’t even notice the money that’s being taken out to be saved. I love how quickly I’ve managed to save money towards individual goals, as well as in general. It’s amazing how much you can save when your funds are being put somewhere that you won’t have immediate access to it. & if you’re concerned about withdrawing funds at any point in time, it’s an absolute breeze. The withdrawal minimum is really helps as well. I have mine set to $50, & they’ve never withdrawn money from my account when my balance is at $50 or below. They also won’t withdraw on weekends, which is always helpful because I can never get an accurate balance on my bank account until Mondays or Tuesdays.
Also I could rave & rave for days about the customer service. They’re absolute sweethearts & they’re more than happy to answer any questions you have for them. They don’t make you feel stupid or under appreciated. I would & DO recommend this app to anyone who has trouble saving or anyone who just wants a little help putting some spare money to the side for a rainy day. I promise you that downloading this app will be something you won’t regret!

I’ve referred about 5 people to download this app and have only received $10 of the “$100” they promise if you refer 3 friends. I had all my friends do everything correctly and even put a bunch of money into the apps “savings” and then when the last person I referred did it of course, nothing. I tried this 3 different times. After the second person went through successfully and i received the $5, i tried again 3 times, with 3 different people w 3 different banks and again, nothing. I did this all well within the time period the promotion was going on once you first download the app (think it gives you a week). This Monday would be the last day to get the $$. So I don’t appreciate the false advertising, that’s so foul and terrible. I’ve brought this app plenty of business and expect my compensation for basically recruiting people for free.
Thankfully I have over-drafting turned off but my bank has notified me a few times of then trying to draw money out of my account for idk what reason.... I don’t like having issues w an app that deals with my finances unless it’s technical. Seems like there’s something fishy going on here though and they could get themselves in a really sticky situations with with a lot of people 🤔 plus it makes me look bad when I’ve asked about 5 different people to download his free sketchy app that plays with their money, that falls back on me. I don’t appreciate this at all this has caused a lot of issues for me and my friends.

Really sorry for any confusion with how the referral promotion works. 😕 It sounds like your friends made manual saves (input an amount and told Digit to transfer it), which unfortunately does not count towards the bonus being paid out - only automatic saves trigger that bonus being added. If you'd like to reach out to email@example.com, we'd love to take a look and confirm.
Those transfers you're seeing in your checking account are auto saves from Digit.
Apologies if this was not clear when you signed up, but Digit is an automatic savings app that analyzes your expenses and income to determine small amounts to set aside from checking into a separate Digit savings account. You can read more about how that works right here: https://help.digit.co/hc/en-us/sections/115002179128-How-Does-Digit-Work- , and access your saved balance at any time by texting "Withdraw" to Digit.
I love this app, it’s saved me over 5K without me even having to break the bank. Yes they have a monthly fee, but you save a lot more and they give you every 90 days 1% of what you saved. So it’s almost like you’re making your fee back. But, the one thing I don’t like is the algorithm they have for saving money. I had $800 in my actual account where they take it out from, the entire time I had this app (Jan 1st) they haven’t taken out more than $5 each time for all three accounts I have, so more than $15 a day. That’s fine, it’s usually never more than that. But today, for some odd reason, they took out $24 for two accounts and $18 for one. LIKE JESUS! I had my car payment go through and some others that haven’t been taken out of my account but I thought it was fine since they have never taken that much out of my account. For now on when I have my car payment and anything else that is a large payment I’m going to have to suspend the savings for a couple days till they can take my payments out, or just manually take out the savings. It was freaking crazy to see that be saved. And I can’t put it back into my account since I get paid on Friday and it takes multiple days to even get the money when you withdraw it. So watch out on that y’all. I was shocked!
