LightScribe and Labelflash Direct Disc Labeling

Burning your design straight to CDs and DVDs from LightScribe and Labelflash™ has never been simpler. Disc Cover was even the first Mac OS X disc labeling program to support DiscT@2 technology. So you won't be surprised when you hear that Disc Cover offers a collection of designs optimized for LightScribe media.

NOTE: HP discontinued support for LightScribe in 2013. The latest driver is not compatible with OS X 10.11 El Capitan.

Tons of Paper Layouts for Great Results

Disc Cover supports tons of label paper formats from the most popular manufacturers, including Avery, Neato, Memorex, and others. If you don't find the layout you need, use the intuitive custom layout dialog.

Direct-to-Disc Printers

Printing right to the top of your discs with the help of a direct-to-disc printer is also no problem. Disc Cover is compatible with printers from HP, Epson, Canon, and other manufacturers.

What's New in Version 3.1.3

Great Product

I bought this product to replace SureThing label making software I used on Windows. Although I don’t use the inserts and all of the other stuff I will say that the label making software far exceeds what I had. I am able to do all types of backgrounds, text and labels. The software is simple and intuitive. It has a wide selection of stock templates so I was able to find my template for the labels I use and start using it. One of the great things is the horizontal and vertical rulers that help you micro adjust your specific labels in your printer. I have had zero problems on the Mac. This product met and exceeded my label needs.

Since upgrading to El Capitan IOS on my Imac Disc Cover 3 no longer detects my lightscribe device as being connected, and reads (NO LIGHTSCRIBE DEVICE AVAILABLE). Prior to downloading El Capitan Disc Cover 3 worked great! Since then it has been nothing short of useless :( If the problem was fixed it would easily be 4-5 stars, unfortunately right now it is un usable. Please Correct the issue so that the $34.99 spent has not gone to waste.

A truly useful app!

First of all, contrary to what other reviews I’ve read, THIS APP WORKS GREAT with El Capitan! I had been struggling using MS Word for Mac and an Avery label app printing CD ROM labels with their stock forms. I never could get the alignment correct and was wasting label forms. Totally unsat! So I did an online search and found Disc Cover 3. I bought it and in minutes had successfully printed my first CD ROM label. The interface is easy to use, and the graphics that are included are extensive and a value added benefit to me. The tutorials are well done, but I found the interface to easy to use I did not need them. I now can print custom CD ROM labels properly everytime. Great job Belight Software! This product is well worth the price, and I am very pleased to have it in my tool box of useful apps. FYI I am using El Capitan version 10.11.6.
