Ratings and Reviews
Great sequel
FireRunt
As a DD player since the beginning...and as someone who was a beta tester of DD2 I have to say what a great job the devs did. They take all of your concerns into consideration so please don’t think your comments fall on deaf ears. The no chat thing is bothersome to many of us, but in this day and age of social media with harassment and predators, I can fully understand why they have not implemented a chat feature. If I want to chat with a friend, and I do quite often, I play a concurrent game on DD1 and do my chatting there until a solution for DD2 comes. The graphics are awesome. The gameplay takes a little getting use to but once you get the hang of it, you’ll like it just as much, if not more than the original. The only thing I am having an issue with, and it’s my own fault, is that since I’ve been playing DD2, every time I play DD1 I try to swipe again to avoid falling. Trying to separate the features from one to the other is the biggest challenge for me. As for the person who complained about the battery drain, I think it may be your phone. I have yet to have any battery drain and I play it all day long.
Game is fantastic, ads after purchasing game are horrible

The gameplay is such an incredible improvement on the first Disc Drivin’ that it renders the original almost unplayable after experiencing this one. However, it is absolutely unacceptable that after purchasing the $5 “premium” in-app purchase, one still has to watch ads for mulligans. They are literally an integral part of gameplay: each player only gets three each match, unless one equips the powerup that gives them four. People that use them have a great advantage over those that do not, and to still include forced ads to use them AFTER buying the game is downright scummy. This isn’t a case of “watch an ad to unlock a new cosmetic” or even “watch an ad to get more coins to unlock things faster”; it’s “watch an ad to use something that is treated as a normal gameplay feature and gives you strategic advantages, despite already purchasing something that was supposed to remove ads”. If I had known I would still be forced to watch ads in that way, I would have NEVER bought the IAP. Developers, you have a wonderful game here—why do you have to ruin it with this shady, greedy, misleading, and unnecessary problem?
Ads and bugs ruin experience

I like the game but I’m done with it. Finally writing a review. I played thousands of matches on the first one and my stats say I’ve played 485 matches in this new game. I simply cannot continue to play the game in its current form. 1) ADS: The ads are just over the top. They incessant. I don’t need to go into too much detail here because if you’ve play the game you understand already. If I’ve played 485 Games then I’ve probably watched 5000 ads when you consider mulligans and between each turn. I just can’t bear to watch another one. 2) BUGS: The bugs are super annoying. If I opt to use a mulligan (and watch another ad) I frequently do not get the option to use my power up or use my second swipe (or third). This is a game changer as a whole swipe or two is huge. I used a mulligan to improve my position, not worsen it. 3) I bought the original game years ago. However I never paid for this new game because as others have said in reviews early on, you still get ads! I would be more than happy to pay for the game and continue playing if it would remove ALL the ads and sort out the bugs.
