Great sequel

FireRunt

As a DD player since the beginning...and as someone who was a beta tester of DD2 I have to say what a great job the devs did. They take all of your concerns into consideration so please don’t think your comments fall on deaf ears. The no chat thing is bothersome to many of us, but in this day and age of social media with harassment and predators, I can fully understand why they have not implemented a chat feature. If I want to chat with a friend, and I do quite often, I play a concurrent game on DD1 and do my chatting there until a solution for DD2 comes. The graphics are awesome. The gameplay takes a little getting use to but once you get the hang of it, you’ll like it just as much, if not more than the original. The only thing I am having an issue with, and it’s my own fault, is that since I’ve been playing DD2, every time I play DD1 I try to swipe again to avoid falling. Trying to separate the features from one to the other is the biggest challenge for me. As for the person who complained about the battery drain, I think it may be your phone. I have yet to have any battery drain and I play it all day long.

Fun game, needs updates

Yankeesfan7899

A large group of my friends and I have been playing disc Drivin’ for years so we were all super excited when this version came out. And at first... we all hated it. It was such a big change, with the double swipes, and new obstacles. It took us forever to finish a race because we would fall off or get spiked or lasered so often.

But now that we’ve been playing for a little while, we’re all obsessed. Obviously the card system and coins is a money grab, and totally understandable... but I actually like it. It makes it more fun to do speed runs and daily challenges because we want certain disc variations.

My biggest issue, and I speak on behalf of my friends as well, is that there is no chat function. It was the best part about disc Drivin’! The only way to even see if they said something is to replay their turn, so you never really know. I was actually super excited today when my phone updated the app... but still no chat. :(

Poor online system

Timothy Deee

You’re limited to a certain number of online games, but if the other player doesn’t take a turn, you’re left with a choice: resign (rewarding them for not playing) so you can free up a slot, or let it sit there and be able to play fewer and fewer games. Games need an auto-lose function if you don’t take a turn in a certain amount of time.
We also need to have vertical control of the camera so we can see what’s directly in front of us but up a little hill, etc.
I like the physics of a flipping/rolling disc, but it’s way too punishing - if your disc isn’t 100% flat, you’re definitely leaving the track.
Finally, a way to contact devs so we don’t have to do so in reviews.
