Open the Mac App Store to buy and download apps.
Disk Ejector is a compact utility tool that can eject a removable disk like windows. And just for this.
What's New in Version 1.27
->Fix mount and unmount volumes that not in the path of "/Volumes/".
->Double click to open disk or volume.
->Fix problem of unmount CDROM and Firewire volumes.
->Change menu bar icon.
Fing'r Click'n Great!
Ejects partitioned Firewire External Hard Drive. Ejects USB Flash Drives. Ejects CDs.
Shows how much memory used and available on each device—perfect for monitoring Virtual Memory when using Photoshop.
Ejects via Desktop Menu Bar is convenient and faster than selecting the device which could be anywhere.
Nice transparent icon in the dock.
Similar icon used by another app in the App Store in the Desktop Menu Bar. Just make it a color other than black!
(Oh, and there is no thick black frame around the panel as you see on this page. Interface is really quite nice.)
Disappointing UI design from the start, including ugly icons and color scheme, bugs in how disk usage is displayed ("-inf%" disk space? What's that?), and even grammatical errors, at least in the US English text. A lack of attention to detail in the user interface leads me to wonder about the quality of the parts of the software I can't see.
This a gadgets with a lot of useful features. Very stable and usable. Works fine on my iMac.
