Ratings and Reviews
One of the three games I play daily!
This is by far one of my favorites. I’m not a kid but I love this game. It brings me back to my childhood when things were easy. I love that they have introduced villains in the game as I’ve always loved the villains. The game has its glitches as does any free game but for the most part it’s smooth sailing. I have invested some money into it so I have a vip rating. If you read the reviews the only negatives are people that want all the content and bells and whistles for free. It’s just not how these games work. They are free to play but if you want that new character right away you’ll have to pay. The cool thing is though you can do different tasks through fyber and another program to get free diamonds. It’s just a fun game with a lot of different modes and even if you don’t pay you can still get by and have fun you just won’t have all the characters and it will take you a bit longer to progress. They keep adding more and more features, characters, and game modes that keep it interesting. I highly recommend playing this game and ignoring the people whining about wanting everything for free and how it’s not fair they don’t get everything. It’s free to play but as any free to play game you will be encouraged to spend money or do the tasks to get diamonds to get new characters and special badges. In conclusion this ever developing interesting addictive game is one of the best I’ve ever played on mobile and I love it. Strongly recommend!
My only gripe is the chat logs
I’ve been playing this for a while, and I was really having fun. It was amazing to see my favorite underrated movie be the top feature of the whole story. It made me feel special, and I could accept this as a proper Wreck-it Ralph sequel if the one coming out this year turns out to be less than mediocre (the trailer seemed lacking) but that’s besides the point of the reason I wrote this review.
The chat room is bad, plain and simple. I get that interacting with the community is great and all, but the moment I was able to access it I wanted nothing to do with it. I’ve been a Disney fan for over fifteen years, now, and super loved the fact that almost all my favorite movies are here, which, coincidentally, are mostly underrated classics like Monsters Inc, Toy Story, the aforementioned Wreck-It Ralph, and the soon-to-be-sequelized Incredibles. However, you have so many young kids in the chat whining that they can’t have Elsa or Anna or any of their other favorite Disney princesses. I think we have the characters we have because they all fit into the campaign story. The characters in this game are less popular because adding characters like Disney princesses will ruin it. If anything it’d be better if we had the option to disable chat or have a wall up for anyone under the age of thirteen to be unable to pass. Or maybe that’s just me feeling entitled because I’m a Disney hipster. Regardless, it’s still a pain to deal with.
Reward System (Now Fixed/Updated)
I really enjoy this game, and have put a fair bit of money into it. However, I recently found out that the reward system for pvp modes, is completely and undeniably unfair. You are randomly assigned one of three values when you make your account that will determine the amount of rewards (particularly with diamonds; the premium game currency) you get for these modes (the lowest value is only 10% of the highest value). I have the ten percent value and after doing some calculations with my guildmates, we have determined that I (and many others in my guild) have missed out on around 10,000 diamonds from daily and promotional arena and coliseum rewards in just the past 45 days (which some players do get for no other reason than chance). What bothers me even more is that everyones rewards in server one, the original server, are the same (why couldn’t they have just continued with that system?). Perblue please fix this and consider providing compensation for the dedicated players who have fallen victim to this. It has greatly discouraged some of my guildmates and I from spending on this game. EDIT: PvP rewards going forward have been fixed and compensation has started. I kinda doubt I’ll get back all the diamonds I missed (we’ll see), but this is a great improvement.
