Well I will revise my review...
after plugging in my old Heercules RMX I was FINALLY greatly surprised by the instant recognotion and the ability to completely use the controls 100% and I truly am grateful that it all seems to work REALLY WELL. so screw all that instant beat matching algorithm mumbo jumbo I can now just do it old school and it really works great with my older MBP 2.6 running OSX and some good old drum and bass. able to DJ for a long time and no problems. Thanks!
awesome app! but...
i love this app i use it for all my gigs lately, i like the user interface, like the easy way of doing the work, love the remote capability and the auto mix, BUT…. i wish it had timecode capability bc i will love to use my vinyl turntables and i will love to have more than two decks to work on… but its still a great app it work very good and i would use this every day before virtualdj
Good app, but outdated.
Djay 2 made the iPhone and iPad able to compete with traktor. While Djay as it is is a good entry level application for people who are interested, if the features from Djay 2 were implemented in this app it would make it stand out from the crowd and take it from good to great.
