Do Not Use Abbreviations

Open iTunes to buy and download apps.
Under JCAHO (Joint Commission), there are certain abbreviations that if used can bring fines and censure on hospital facilities. Most importantly, if these abbreviations are misread, it can lead to the injury or death of a patient.
This program was built for the professional in mind. It provides quick and easy access to the abbreviations and definitions without any clutter or mess.
Also included in the list is the "should not use" abbreviations. These are abbreviations that JCAHO has identified as being able to be misread easily and will be fully incorporated into the do not use regulation at a future date.
Thank you for your purchase!

What's New in Version 1.1
Updated the 'Do Not Use' database to include the type of abbreviations. Also, cleaned up some of the abbreviation reasons for inclusion in the list.
Total waste of time and money
The JCAHO is requiring several changes in ordering medications and writing prescriptions that are not included in the app. This app covers only the most basic 7 abbreviations that JCAHO currently prohibits and 8 abbreviations that may be prohibited. I am remorseful that $0.99 was spent on an app that I would have deleted even if it was free.
Definitely Not Worth It!!
This app has a grand total of 15 items listed. All of them are obvious to anyone who had enough brains to actually graduate from college in any medical field. This app should be free of charge, and even then it's not worth taking the time to download it to your device. Skip it!!!
How about DO NOT USE THIS APP!
