Dock Clock 3 is a utility that places a clock in your dock. It is fully configurable and comes with multiple presets. You can access Dock Clock's features through the dock item menu.
What do you want on your clock? With Dock Clock you decide. Either pick one of the beautiful presets or create your own. Options include face color, border width and color, AM/PM color, number color, count, and style, tic mark count and color, and all hands color and width.
What information do you want on your clock? If the AM/PM just clutters the icon you can dispose of it with a click. Want roman numerals instead of numbers? You can do that too.
Is your computer displaying the wrong time? With as little as two clicks you can access the Date and Time preference pane in your System Preferences.
Nicely designed but...
In every clock, the hands are barely lighter than the face except one exceptionally ugly interface (Matte) so unless your dock is HUGE, you cannot see the hands. It looks great and does what it says it does and they are nicely designed clocks but the developer obviously did not consider smaller (mine takes up 60% of the right side of a 21" iMac so we are not talking tiny by any means) docks.
This app is an extreme memory hog. Yesterday morning, it was using 17MB on my system and, this morning, it had ballooned up to using 1.11GB - I decided to un-install it because of this.
I LOVE the Earth option that shows day and night on my pretty blue planet!
