Ingenious and Ideal Storage App for I-Pad

I LOVE this app! It seems I have only begun to tap into all that it does. I needed ready access for several hundred files that I actively work on — and the system of folders on Documents has been ideal for this. Although it took a little while to understand the processes and get used to the way this app works ... — it is REALLY ingenious. I am able to download large numbers of pdfs in minimal time, and then transfer them to wherever I desire in Documents. The Browser enables access to all the files in my Dropbox or in my I-Cloud — and I've just learned to synch these hundreds of files in Documents on my I-Pad with my I-Phone to enable access on either device. To understand how to do this I contacted HELP that is available to purchasers of this app — and sure enough, I received detailed instructions on several occasions from the producer of this app. They WILL explain whatever you might be having trouble with. THANK YOU so much for developing this SUPERB and absolutely ingenious app!

A key part of my PC emigration kit

The goal is to be able to do everything I want to do on a trip with my iPad Air instead of my trusty but aging mini-laptop. Documents is a key part of that. The iPad is crippled by design as to letting me move documents of various kinds around and cluster and organize everything; Documents pushes that as far as any program is allowed to do. Documents understands the "F" word (Folders) that we PC emigres so desperately want. If you want a file manager, go no further. It has been reliable and has even improved despite the swift stream of Apple change. Hopefully Documents will continue to keep the wonderful Samba support inside it which allows my iPad to connect directly via wifi to my PC and to an external wifi drive, allowing documents to be moved easily between the Apple and PC worlds without constant battles with the grossly overcomplex, extranea-filled, advertising-burdened iTunes program. Also look at Readdle's other PDF programs, which work as promised.

Puts the "Pro" in iPad Pro

Does anyone else find it ironic, when introducing the recent MacBook Pros, the included a touch bar because "it keeps your hands where they belong, on the keyboard." But then they say the iPad Pro is a "Super Computer" - yet no trackpad? So our hands do belong on the screen? Which is it?

The reality is that Apple is doing what Microsoft did under Balmer - they're trying to protect their profit found in laptops. And so they stifle innovation in their iPads as a result.

How is that leading? How is that being on the cutting edge of innovation?

No mouse support. No true file system. No running full-fledged apps (Adobe must have been told not to make full apps available on the iPad).

So yes...ironic. Easy changes that could be made to make it TRULY a Pro machine - and they simply won't do it. Cook said combining a laptop's functionality and a tablets convenience is like merging a "refrigerator and a toaster," and it's a FALSE ARGUMENT. It doesn't need to be merged - make those adjustments as indicated above and who needs MacOS except for all the heavy lifting only a desktop/laptop can do (for now)?

Oh wait - isn't that the whole problem Apple?

Documents 5 at least takes a stab at giving the iPad Pro some "laptop" capabilities like downloading content/video/pdfs from the Internet. If it didn't exist, I'd be buying a Surface Pro.
