What's New in Version 6.5.1
Fix Evernote Clip Crash
I like the browsers features especially the evernote clip feature which as far as i know is the only ios app that does it well. And the gestures are nice although i would prefer it if i didnt have to go to another screen to do the gesture, that seems like an extra step that doesnt really simplify things unless u were in full screen mode. Although i know without that screen it would likely activate gestures on accident. It would be nice if some of the buttons were a little bigger. I have small fingers to begin with and the back button sometimes doesnt get activated when i touch it, so if it was bigger? Mostly it crashes often, leaving my last place gone when go in and out of the app. But for now im gunna still use it. If they can fix that crashing issue then i will keep it, but if it keeps crashing then im going to say goodbye.
I love this browser! No more intrusive ads, no more slow loading, freezing, random crashes, etc. It does what it's supposed to do and does it well. I wish I could get rid of Safari altogether because all the constant ads ruin my internet experience. I wish this app allowed for Air Drop but that particular feature isn't all that useful anyway so I certainly can live without it. All I could really wish for is the ability to customize it a bit more with different skins or colors but that's a minor quibble really. If there was a paid version, I'd buy it! Instead, I'll just donate to the developer because this browser they developed is the bees' knees!
Almost Browser of Choice
I've been using this for some time now and it had almost completely replaced both Safari and Chrome and my go-to browsers (in order of preference). That is, until the last month or so when, for no apparent reason, it decided it no longer cared to function properly. During the last month, it has crashed an average of three times a day, which is simply unacceptable, for any app much less a browser. If you're going to depend on a particular browser to suit all your needs, stability has to be the number on consideration.
Unless and until the developers can restore the stability Dolphin had months ago when I first began using it, it remains at three stars and a source of frustration. Get it fixed and it becomes a five star app.
