Really useful but needs to evolve a bit.

My review is honest and I hope helpful.

The app is in its early stages. As with any app idea that catches on, through feedback and updates, the app will evolve into a better and better version.

This app does not give legal advice nor does it violate any laws because it doesn’t involve itself in personal legal affairs.

I mention this because a posted review I read, which frankly seems slanderous, indicated several times there will be lawsuits because it encourages people to not hire lawyers. That comment obviously written by someone who feels threatened by the thought of SELF HELP legal services.

Self Help is the key here.
If you have ever seen a tv ad for Legal Zoom , this app is a similar concept.

The app helps you assembled info already made public. We all know that it’s easy to miss out of class actions because info is often outdated or you simply did not know they existed.

It also helps to send demand letters with very general terminology and the app basically helps you help yourself. It is not trying to replace paying a lawyer. It encourages you to do some of the things that are simple legal steps that can help you preserve your rights.

Currently there are some issues that could be improved. I applaud the idea and effort. Hopefully the bad review will scroll off soon, because it was meant only to harm this app and is untrue.

It’s also FREE that is awesome.

A dumpster fire

I'm not sure I could trust an app that can't even protect itself from liability because, from what I can see, this app looks like a big cesspool of why people who are unauthorized to practice should not do so. Moving past a state's requirements that an individual has to be licensed... The idea of replacing high competence professionals with apps sounds great. However, with high competence comes high risk and with high risk comes the possibility of malpractice premiums. How could the developer of this app afford the multitude of law suits that are likely to come pouring in? It's not like he could disclaim his liability because, legally, that kind of liability can't be disclaimed.

I'm sympathetic to app developers who are struggling to come up with ideas but it's pretty obvious this was an app that wasn't cleared by even one legal mind 🤦‍♀️

Never been done before

This app is accomplishing something that has never been done before, putting access to justice in the hands (literally & figuratively) of the masses.

First off, the user interface is fantastic. Very approachable & easy to understand. Does not feel like a stodgy legal app.

Second, the app accomplishes such a variety of legal needs. These are often economically inefficient to hire a lawyer for, but there is still a path to justice.

I love the parking ticket bot, I have had to fight a few parking tickets in the past. I’ve had to appear in court, take a few hours out of the day, in the end just to save $30 or $50. This makes it simple.

Also really like the small claims feature. I put my address in and it already knew what our state small claims max was. I’ve begun the process and will report back on how it goes.

Thanks Josh for a job well done. Can’t wait to see where this goes!!
