Don't Look Back is a short game I made in 2009.
Some reviews of the original version:
"A perfect example of doing more with less" - The Escapist
"Every game with a lead character necessarily has a moral. Every single one. It's just rare that the moral is so uplifting." - Jayisgames
"It may be a pop song, but it´s like a Smashing Pumpkins single or something, from a concept album." - PlayThisThing

LUV THIS GAME!!!!!!!! OMG
This game is perfect. This game inspires me. I don't care what people say about, "Oh, I don't like the graphics, oh I hate this game, it's too short" , no no no no no. SHUT UP AND PLAY THIS GAME! Just kidding people. You don't have to. I am just trying to express my feelings towards this 'old timic' game. This game reminds me of the old times when I was 7 and I had windows xp paint where I made RED pixels on the screen and made a movie on it with my imagination. Notice I said RED, because this game also has red shading color. Very awesome game Terry. You should make more like this. You don't have to, but this is AMAZING!!! 😄😄 The music is a killer. It gives me the chills when I hear this peaceful art of music. I seriously love the atmosphere. 5 STARS!!!!😄
20 minutes well spent!
Don't listen to bad players who cant beat 2 enemies or 5. This game is a jewell, beautiful in every aspect and with great psychological metaphors. The fact that a game is 90 hours long doesn't mean it has a deep story like all the silly recent RPGs or the endless FF saga with nothing to offer but a complete waste of time in a story that every time makes you think you are the last hope to save the universe in a crucial time. Play this game and learn a valuable lesson about life and death.
I do in fact, Look Back. I look back and regret downloading this game.
What the heck. Everyone treats this game as a masterpiece while I just feel lucky I didn't pay for this. If you say this is a great philosophical piece of art, then sorry, you're just a pretentious idiot. I can't tell you how many "pixel art games about life and death" there are. There's so many, and this one is nothing special. It's actually one of the not as good ones I've played. Perhaps this is what started the trend, but I don't care. It's not very good. A waste of time.
