3 1/2 Stars. Love Graphics But...
(Slight Spoiler Alert) Somehow it seems I played out of order, having played the Frog Prince first, but not sure how. As usual, the graphics are nice although HO games are not clear so pieces found due to random tapping and use of hints -- which is not usual for me -- and the storyline definitely needs some tightening/fleshing out/completion/whatever. Frog Prince was better, so in way makes sense if it was the second in the series. If able to get on a discount (as it is always best to do so for any game for fiscal responsibility) do so. And although giving this recommendation I would not suggest giving up on future games...as a matter of fact the opposite, I look forward to the next one with the anticipation it will be better.
Also, agree with one reviewer that playing the Hard Mode after playing the game is not causing backflips and thanks to another reviewer I will now look for the Bonus Content (thought to be in the Hard Mode) behind the Strategy Guide although, if what is written is true, not really doing backflips about it either.
Still love BFG and BTG but this is not the best...or better...just slightly above average. Happy Gaming!
This one was just ok for me. I usually love the Blue Tea games from BFG, but this one seemed a little blurry to me. Tiny pieces to find in the HOG scenes ended up being found by random tapping. Story was good enough, and length of game was good, but just feel something was missing. Bonus game was hidden behind the strategy guide in the main menu. Since I don't use strategy guides, I didn't know that and almost felt cheated, but decided to touch on everything for some reason, and found it there. But the bonus adventure did not add a single thing to the story at all. While it extended the length of the game, it ended abruptly with no sense that it was even related to the story. Overall, I give this one a three.
Player Name Issue Workaround
For those who are having the issue where you cannot type your name at the start, I've found a workaround. I noticed that the paste function showed up if I held my finger on the input field. I went into another program, typed my name, copied it, and then came back into the game and pasted my name in the box. Everything works great now but that was a serious pain in the rear!
