Open the Mac App Store to buy and download apps.
Dragging and dropping is a great way to get stuff done on your Mac, but DragonDrop makes it even better. DragonDrop lets you set down what you're dragging, leaving you free to find your destination without worrying about keeping the mouse button held down.
Drag files, folders, photos, text — even entire web pages. DragonDrop can handle just about anything you throw at it.
“The best compliment I could give any app is that it should be built in. This should!”
— Patrick Rhone, MinimalMac
“Sometimes there are problems you didn't even know you had — and solutions that make your life so much better. DragonDrop is one of those solutions.”
— Erica Sadun, TUAW
What's New in Version 1.4.1
Fixed an issue that could cause DragonDrop to activate too easily when some applications (such as Microsoft Word) were active.
Missing one key feature.
DragonDrop is one of the reasons I switched to Mac from PC. The app is very intuitive and I have not run into a bug yet. But I am havging a hard time finding its purpose. You cannot add multiple files in one window, or even create more than one dragon drop window. Moving bulk files (bulk being anything more than one) from different locations is still the same as it used to be. Move one by one by one. If I knew that this didn’t have the ability to grab multiple files in a window, I wouldn’t have boughten it.
I have used DragonDrop every day since 2012. It has been rock solid and has become an insta-recomend to anyone I know who has a mac. This utility will change the way you use you OSX. Well worth every penny.
