Thoughts on what was once my favorite app
Draw something, an app highly revered by myself, is a wonderful pastime game. I used to draw and guess nonstop, without ads and without worry of my ink running out. I remember a time when the ink would flow bountifully in bright shades of orange, red and blue... Hues of grey and green abundant. I take my illustrations seriously, albeit for a mere guessing game, a good illustration is an important thing all the same! This IS a game in which the quality of your art decides the outcome of the second players guess, am I correct? I am. Without enough "ink" that outcome becomes limited and the players are now set in somewhat of a harrowing dilemma. WHY is it necessary to put a restraint on this so called "ink"? This is the peak of an age where we can draw without utensils that need to be refilled! I call this blasphemy. As for the many, MANY ads and videos that are now taking over the integrity of a once pristine game... I am aware that the makers are trying to turn a profit, I'm aware that hundreds of people see these ads, (and I shamefully admit being sidetracked by more than one of these ads) but it takes away the fun and becomes an annoyance. The game is still great. It is still fun. But it is also very pesky. Those are my only complaints. Thank you.
OMG I HAVE FAT FINGERS
Alright so I'm going through the App Store and I see this game and wonder "hmm did I leave that fork in the bowl of pasta that I put in the microwave 5 min ago?!" So I download this game to see what's up! I like the idea and I realize that all those years I was a boss at drawing in school really really REALLY didn't pay off! This game made me realize about a couple things!! That I can't draw, have very little patience for ads that pop up every 5 sec, can't spell the simplest of words ( which makes me look like a total idiot who would leave a fork inside a running microwave), that I am too poor to buy bombs that will help me figure out a 4 letter word, that I have some fat fingers that I have acquired over the years of failure to achieve the adequate drawing skills to keep ones figure in check and that il probable die an old fat, poor drawing, microwave fork leaving, unsuccessful, fat fingered loser. But hey other than that?! This game is pretty AWESOME!!! 5 Stars!!!:D it's been about 5 min so il just go and eat some "pasta"... Aka Ramen Noodles!
Can't click off ads.
Okay so you want me to write another review. Well, I don't like the way you've made it next to impossible to click off some of the ads. I'll touch the X over and over, and it either takes several tries to make it go away or else it will take me to the ad anyway. Also I've noticed that you now only give five coins instead of ten for watching a video. With the trouble it takes to get off the ad it's really not worth it. Other than that the game is still fun and a good way to keep in touch with friends. Oh also, get rid of the tennis category if you can't come up with words other than names of the players. There. You asked me for a review and you got it. You want ANOTHER review???? Ok it's still really hard to click off some of the ads. Sometimes when you hit the X it'll take you to the ad instead. So what I often have to do is just close the Draw Something app and reopen it.
