Dream:scape is not a game-- it's an immersive interactive experience, an explorable novel that makes you the main character.
Take on the persona of Wilson, a man caught in the limbo between life and death, reconstructing his past via the Dreamscape of his memories. Find the tools to overcome the Guardians of Memory, revealing buried secrets and shedding new light on a decades-old mystery. Halcyon visions turn to dark reveries as the truth unravels, spiraling toward the inescapable climax. Dream:scape is a world of love, mystery, and ultimately, revenge.
An engrossing story told through interactive 3d environments, written diary entries, and over ten minutes of spoken dialogue (English).
Lush original score by composer Isaias Garcia.
Nearly thirty seamless acres of entirely open-world exploration, featuring fully realized interior and exterior locations.
Unlockable Free Roam options.
Intuitive controls and in-world interactions.
Dream:scape is a virtual experience to be savored for hours, replayed like a favorite book, and remembered for years.
Note: Dream:scape utilizes spoken language (English) and printed text. Be sure to have your device audio enabled. Foreign language support (French and Spanish) will be available soon.

What's New in Version 1.4
Improved stability. Spider much easier to defeat.
I really enjoyed playing this game. I played it on my iPad 1 gen and it ran great, I never noticed any slowdown or stuttering. It proves that there is a lot of life still in the original iPad and that developers shouldn't be so quick to dismiss it when making new games. The game does crash a lot during the open video, but once I manage to get past the opening, the game runs fine until I'm ready to quit.
One thing I must mention is that I have a hearing impairment that makes it very hard for me to understand the spoken word without additional aids such as subtitles or lip reading. Most of the time I could figure out what was going on thanks to the visual cues and diary. It would have been really nice though if I had had the option of turning on subtitles. Hearing impaired people thinking of getting this game may want to take note of this. There is also a nice walk thru on the developer's web site which I found very handy for the few times I couldn't understand what was going on. The music on the other hand was really nice and fit the eery mood.
My only other complaint is that the quick time events Could be very difficult at times and seemed to distract from the overall laid back feel of the game. Fortunately these were few and far between.
On the whole this was a very fun adventure game and really shows off the iPad's potential. I hope we'll be seeing more like it.
fails to meet its potential
This game had the potential to be one of the best games in the app store but ultimately it falls short of this goal. It has gorgeous graphics and it really does a great job of making you feel as though you're in another world, but the experience doesn't last long enough and the actual gameplay is shallow and too unresponsive. The only interaction you have is moving through the world and inside some of the buildings and scenes that require you to swipe in a series of sequential directions in order to proceed to your next goal. Many times the swiping is unresponsive making for inaccurate and repetitive swipes which ultimately lead to frustration. If this game had more missions/objects to find, added locations and improved gameplay (such as items you have being in an inventory and you have to bring the item up from inventory and interact with it to use it, instead of swipe left, right, left it could become one of the best games I've played, but not as it stands. The free-roaming mode does very little to add any replay value to the game. I've already roamed all the spots on the map, why would I want to do it again with no motivation behind it? The bottom line: It's a fun and fairly engaging experience but much like a carnival ride the thrill comes to an end far too soon and there's no reason to get back on once you've already rode it.
This game, I must say, is my most favorite app. I cried at the end, because it was beautiful and dramatic. The spider took me one try to defeat, so it wasn't that hard to kill him. Either way, the graphics are amazing and realistic, and the music is really good. (What is the music called though?) The story it self is splendid. It was very sad and dramatic, just my type of story/game. This game would make an incredible movie and novel. Speed bump, please hire someone to make a movie and novel for this game. People my say bad things such as this game was horrible, but it's not. I wish that nobody would try to be cool and say bad things about this amazing game. Don't listen to them. I don't work for Speed bump, but I am a person telling you the complete truth. Get this game while it's free, or buy it. If you don't want to the the full game, get Dream:Scape Lite. Please don't say bad things about this game. If it were possible, I'd give this game infinity and beyond stars...
Sorry to those who read my entire review. I wouldn't have written so much if it weren't a great game. It's a wonderful game and a must get. After you finish the game and enter Frank's dream scape, you get free roam.
Enjoy this amazing and beautiful game ; )
