The object of the game is to get the Droopy Blocks from their starting shape and position, into the Goal shape.
To do this, you need to use the Sucker creatures on the edge of the game board.
Tapping a Sucker will wake it up and make it Suck the Droopy Blocks towards it.
The player can keep parts of the Droopy Block they do not want to move in place by pressing on them with their fingers.
The game supports multi-touch and drag selecting to hold blocks in place.
NOTES: DISABLE MULTITASKING GESTURES BEFORE PLAYING
If you do not do this, the game will not recognize multiple finger inputs properly. This makes the Droopy Blocks sad...
How to disable Multitasking Gestures:
❶ Tap the Settings icon in your app area
❷ Go to "General Settings", it will be in the list on the left panel
❸ Towards the bottom of the general settings you will see the "Multitasking Gestures", set it to "Disable"
Like twister for your fingers!
So far so good! Only through the first 30 levels but it's great. It doesn't start getting challenging until after 20 though which makes sense so you can learn the game. Don't use tap mode unless you want the game to be too easy. Hold mode is much more fun and challenging and really makes you think about finger placement.
I've recommended this to all of my FB friends.
Thank you MBS for puting out a solid game worth ever penny of the $1.99 I paid!
Hidden Pricing, not Retina-supported
I read a review for Droopy Blocks on Joystiq and was eager to support an indie developer. The article stated the game was free, though I have no issues with paying for apps. I downloaded and was having a good time with the game, but was troubled it didn't support Retina graphics.
After the first few levels, I find out through a terrible pop-up that I must pay to access the rest of the game. This is quite deceptive and not appreciated at all. I'll do everything I can to avoid Mechanical Butterfly apps in the future. So disappointing.
Try not treating the player like garbage and support the best level of graphical detail available.
Great puzzle and finger agility game
I'm really enjoying this game. It takes a few levels to get the hang of it and for the puzzles to start getting interesting, but now I'm hooked. It's like twister for your fingers combined with puzzles. I highly recommend giving this a shot.
