Don’t Waste Your Time

This App can have its benefits if you spend often on your ongoing offers & are willing to fight to receive your points. The one-time offers are only worth it if you are willing to contact support, take screenshots, & fight for them to issue your points manually. Don’t ever expect these to post on their own, including the IN-App offers that they recently rolled out for this purpose. They don’t sync. Take screenshots of everything. As many others have stated, their customer service is as bad as it gets, & I was a hospitality mgmt major so I understand customer service on a fundamental level. The average response time is about 5-7 days & sometimes you won’t receive one at all. When you do finally receive a response, more often than not, your issue won’t be resolved. There has been a Chase Bank issue where people who bank with Chase (largest bank in the U.S.) stopped receiving points for any & all transactions around mid April. It’s been over a month since they have had any luck in resolving this, so the app has essentially went dead to thousands of users. They have a banner stating that they are trying to resolve, but again, over one month of a dead app for thousands of users, paired with unresponsiveness- ask yourself if you want the headache for $5 to Starbucks? It’s not worth your time.

Beware! Not as good as it looks.

Started using drop Feb 1st . Worked great 6 weeks or do. Then no credit for anything in a month. Mail sent to support, reply in a week (to long to reply in my opinion). Said I didnt have a linked card. I looked in the app and it was linked. I unlinked it, relinked. Got points a couple weeks, then stopped again. Mail to support, never got a reply. Tried to log into my bank account late one evening to pay a bill. Wrong pass account locked. I then received email telling me my account was locked and the last successful login attempt was earlier the same day! I had not logged in for about 2 weeks. I go to bank in person next morning. They investigated and showed me where my account had been logged into every day, same time, same IP address. I then closed that account. Opened new account, did not link drop for 7 days. Checked with bank and no logins were made at all in these 7 days. I then linked card again, and 7 days later checked at bank and my account had been logged in by the same IP, same time of the day as first account. Bank closed that account on me for safety. If the app actually worked I would only use a small burn account and keep just enough in it to cover things you can get drop points for, they had full access to my accounts.

Yes, this app does really pay out, but there’s a lot of catches. For instance it’s been 3 weeks since I completed one offer and they still have my points as pending. ANYTIME you contact customer service they will IGNORE you unless you rant on Twitter or email them 1,000x. They send the same automated replies which are unhelpful and it would be more helpful if people actually read what your sending to them. I seriously don’t appreciate this. I once waited over a month before hearing back from someone and the only reason they answered was because I took to Twitter. And since Black Friday I’ve been waiting for a reply on their boosted points. They stated you’d get extra points for completing and never gave them. Now their trying to claim that the points listed were the extra points but it’s funny because I have earlier screenshots that show that’s what the points were even in October before Black Friday. So yea the app pays out and it’s a great way to make extra money WHEN IT WORKS! I would stay away from buying from one time offers because they take forever to post (3 weeks and going right now. If you buy Dunkin everyday great link up and earn quick-ish. But just beware if you ever run into any problems it’ll be a hassle and sometimes points are too...
