There's a huge Problem...Live Photos
I love Dropbox so much! It is truly my daily file storage driver for keeping all of my files, folders, and images in there! But....I am hesitating to store my photos in there, actually, simple because of the lack of Live Photos support. Guys, it doesn't make sense to me that the second iOS 9 came out, you jumped out of your way to implement new features such as Spotlight search, 3D Touch, etc. but failed to implement one of the most precious features which is the support for Live Photos. Because of the lack of its availability, I am keeping my Live Photos originals onto my phone just in case I want to jump ships (which I really don't want to do)! Without the implementation of Live Photos support, your app is deadly mediocre despite the fact of how much you publicize your photo and video upload! Please please please...Implement this in the NEAR, NEAR future & if I don't see it by then, I am afraid that I will have to find an alternative. Thanks for everything you do & am waiting for a response! :)
Dropbox 4.2.3 Review
Dropbox needs to give the ability to disable the recent tab and give the ability to hide items to be truly effective. Let's face it the recent section looks like crap. It's not even organized. If the tab would be organized by what device it was stored on and by type of file as well this wouldn't be an issue. Also the fact they won't let you hide anything is very troubling. What if you wanna hide a family video you don't wanna risk others seeing? Or maybe it's a document you need kept private? Guess Dropbox feels they themselves should be allowed to view your stuff. Thus if true brings into question why would you pay Dropbox for extra storage for them to spy on you?
Best cloud solution
I don't know what user error these other reviewers are ranting on besides their mispelled words, but in my everyday use for sharing graphics and photography to my clients. This works flawlessly. The recently added files coming up first is awesome especially after I've edited something from my desktop and use my phone then to share it through a text message or the direct file itself. Been using dropbox since the beginning. Its awesome.
