Has potential

I got this game for PC on sale for Christmas and instantly fell in love with it. Just a few days ago I found this on the app store and was very excited to be able to play dungeon defenders on my phone. Sadly the controls make the game nearly unplayable, it took me SO long to get my towers set up due to the clunky controls, and forget about doing any real fighting with your hero, the controls make it too hard to move around and aim quickly. You also cant turn your hero around without walking in a huge circle, which gets annoying fast. After spending about a half hour on the very first level (takes me less than 15 mins on PC) I got a phone call during the final wave and the game closed and did not save my progress -.- With all that said, keep in mind that I played the PC version first, and maybe I am just set in my ways. As a positive note, this game is awesome, it's like diablo mixed with a TD, I just think that it's a little much for a touch phone. Maybe it is better on the iPad, but there's just too much going on for such a small screen, not to mention your thumbs are constantly covering your peripheral vision while you move and attack. In conclusion: great game, but not a good port for the iPhone due to the controls/screen size. If you played the PC version and are thinking about buying the iPhone version, I would not recommend it.

Wonderful game

This is abreast game and I would recommend it to anyone who loves tower defense and RPGs. It gets the best of both worlds. However, there are some flaws that have to be addressed. For example, it costs too much to buy things. I am a level 16 and I have to to buy a familiar because I can't afford it. It is way to expensive to upgrade items. Also, for unlocking familiers, such as getting the serpent by getting up to wave 15 in the magus quarters, I have no idea how that. Works. I tried it twice and I have yet to see the serpent. Is it that I have to beat 15 waves or is it that I have to reach wave 15. The limit on tower numbers is just a bit too strict. If the number could be increased or if the heigher towers counted for
less then that would be great. Also the multiplayer needs to be worked on as, when I played that, then screen would move around even when I was moved. I would sudden be 6 feet to the left when I had been running forward
While I have said a lot of negative things, this is one of the best games I have ever played. It quite a good game. It quickly became my number one game. Thanks to developing one of the best tower defense games I have ever played.

(almost) Worst Controls EVER on an iPhone Game

It could really be one of my AppStore Favorites, but the Game controls are definitely one of the worst on the iPhone!! Its just driving me crazy!!! It shoots to whatever it wants to! (No way to deactivate the auto targeting??? WT…) Can't choose an tower and try to repair / upgrade during play, because the buttons for these action just get behind others interface elements… and the virtual joystick is really a runner up for the worst ever on the iPhone!!

On the other side, game dynamic is really good, graphics are really good but I do get slow downs on my iPhone 4 (everything else closed) on busy combats.

Really! I had rated this game with 5 stars, but the control thing is so frustrating that Im downgrading my review to 3 stars!… Everything else, this game rocks… but being alms unplayable on some busy combats is enough to get me thinking about uninstalling it for 2nd time (even after spending some money on it, because it did not saved my profile when i had to uninstall it previously). With these problems fixed, this is surely a 5 stars game.
