A simple RPG dice roller. It sums up the total of your roll and allows you to increment or decrement to score. You can also roll multiples of any die. Themes allow you to customize the appearance of the app and app icon. Works on iPad with Split View and Slide Over if you want to run it concurrently with another app.

Beautiful clean interface

I don’t like skeuomorphism so this app fits the bill. I like the shortcut to tap and hold on a dice to easily roll multiple dice at a time, or just tap the die icon multiple times. To include modifiers, you can tap the minus or plus icon. A history feature would be nice, but I’m willing to forgo roll history for the clean interface. It’s great the free/trial version is fully functional. You can pay for different color themes, I bought a theme just to support the developer.

Wonderful except for...

This is a fantastic app and I recommend it to anyone looking for something simple, quick, and effective. However, even though it is a free app I find it to be very disappointing that they do not offer a “night” mode for free.

Don’t get me wrong. People want to make money from their work. We all have to eat and pay bills but I would have expected, at the very least, a dark mode and light mode (aka. Day/night) to be free.

Thus I can only offer 4 stars. I was tempted to give 3 stars but it does do everything I want short of my desired “Night” mode.

One more thing. When looking at the pay versions, I can’t help but feel if I were to pay, I would want a more esthetic looking desktop option. Might I suggest extending the options players can purchase to include some nice visual options or the desktop. Perhaps a wooden table with beer steins and food plates on the edge or a grassy area with a clear dirt spot for the dice rolling. Perhaps an iron pan over a fire if you want to add animation even. The background options are endless. Don’t be so bland and dull if you want people to pay for something.

These days when competing with others, esthetics mean everything for mass interest. If not then why does your competition have 3D dice rolling too.

Just saying.

Almost perfect

I really like this app it's simple and beautiful, however there are a couple things I think could improve it.

I wish that the most prominent part of the display wasn't the sum of whatever dice you roll. A lot of the time I don't care what they add up to, I'm looking at the individual rolls and those numbers see so tiny and gray. For example I want to see if it was two 3's, but I don't need to know that it adds up to 6. I think the sum is useful, just don't think it should be the most prominent. There's so much unused screen space I feel like there is room to improve this.

I also think it would be nice if there was a way to remove an individual roll. Say you roll 3 d20s but you meant to only roll 2. If you could click on the last roll and remove it that would be helpful instead of having to reset and go again.
