Blank Screen Issue
This update seems to take care of lots of areas that needed work, which is good, but unfortunately this new update does shows this blank screen with numbers and letters. So EA does need to work more on it!
What I've done and worked for me was uninstall the app, and then reinstall it but before running the app go to the app store and run the update, then open the app and leave it running in the background. Do not close it, if you do the problem starts. For me it's working this way, hopefully EA will fix this soon.
Instead of re downloading the app, click on 'getting started', right side under where they ask for your password, before signing in. It will always work and you don't have to get thru the problem of downloading the app again over and over, all it does is open a page on Safari but you can easily get back to the app rather than redownloading everything again
Navigating to certain area will cause an error screen, causing you to delete the app, re-download it, re-log in, re-enter your security answer....
And then inevitably you will have to do this again when you navigate to an area that contains this bug.
This took about 2 minutes of very basic quality control testing to find. How on earth can EA put out a product for worldwide distribution - without first testing it's basic features? Laziness or incompetence. Or both.
