What's New in Version 1.6.1
Fixed a critical bug relating to shopping cart functionality.
Nice, But Could Use Some Work
App has tendency to be sluggish once you shop and have selected the filters for merchandise viewing. Not necessarily the easiest to navigate going back and forth once options have been filtered down. There's a lot of merchandise to consider ("Thank you" Eastbay, seriously), which can account for slow loading of each page. Would be nice to have some additional filters as well to help make sure you don't miss anything...or the ability to combine more than one option in the same category filter, i.e. More than one price range, size, style (casual, athletic, boots, shoes), etc.
I wouldn't delete this app, it works, but can work better. Smoother Functionality gets 4 stars.
The back button puts you all the way back to the home screen. I had to restart an order 3 times due to this. I am used to back putting me back a screen, not all the way back to home. Had to re-find the shoes each time I made that error. Been a fan of Eastbay since the mid 90's. As a teen I loved getting those seasonal magazines in the mail (yes that makes me old)
Pretty but Dysfunctional
The app is nice and I thought it would be easier than mobile browsing. Sadly, you can't multi-select filters (i.e. selecting results for multiple brands) and once you clicked a shoe within your search results, getting back to the search list is counter-intuitive and I usually end up at the landing page for the app. Disappointing. I deleted the app within an hour.
