Easy 10K dynamically changes the beat of YOUR music to perfectly match your pace. Research shows that music distracts the brain during exercise and faster music causes people to accept and even prefer a greater degree of effort. This means you will work harder without trying (or without even feeling the difference), you will get better results from the increased effort, and most importantly, the time will fly by. You can also download 15 tracks of high-energy fitness music for FREE to really get your playlist pumping.
DESIGNED AROUND YOU
Whether you're looking to take the next step after mastering Easy 5K or you want to improve your 10K time, Easy 10K has the perfect program for you. Your pace and Run-Walk-Run ratio of each workout is customized to your ability, plus Easy 10K gives you complete control as you move through your workout. Turn the intensity down a bit when you're struggling or crank it up when you're ready for more, and Easy 10K adjusts your workout — and your music — on the fly.
Easy 10K includes GPS tracking* so you can see your pace and the distance covered during your workouts. GPS works best outside with a clear view of the sky. When you want to work indoors on a track or on a treadmill, use your beat-synced music to set your pace, and Easy 10K will track your results.

Ratings and Reviews
This app is a mess. 1) it has to be active at all times or stops working properly. 2) default see tings changes the speed of your music!! Why anyone would want that is beyond me. 3) the interface is terrible. The graphics mean nothing. When you look down at it no where on it does it say to work or run. So many better run apps out there.
Why can’t I use Spotify?
Other running apps like Get Running let you run Spotify in background. Have to make a playlist from iTunes?! Boo! Also not easy to skip warmup if you already have and don’t need it.
No significant updates in 18 months.
The method works. 18 months ago I couldn’t run 1 mile without dying. I can now run 10K. Yay! The run-walk-run style is perfect for me. I am now doing the last week of the 10K app. (did the 5K app twice). Here’s what I have to say about the app.
Extremely confusing for the first month. THere’s way too much information and you don’t quite know what is what. It has way too many controls that it makes it too easy for one to change a setting unwillingly. I’ve totally spoiled my day’s exercise by simply hitting a button. The worst? I have no idea what it was. My suggestion? Have a LOCK button. Which happens more frequently: (a) one wants to change the exercise settings mid-run and therefore needs them to be readily available at any time or (b) On accidentally hits said settings and has unforeseen consequences? B, me thinks.
At the end of the workout. You click “End Workout”, then you’re offered to share it on Facebook, then you’re taken to NEXT DAY’S workout. I find it clumsy. There should be some summary page and then a sort of a home page. Not the workout you are not doing today! I always found the end of the workout pretty weird.
I tried. Hard. Many times. It’s frustrating to say the least. It won’t include a number of your tracks and there’s nothing you can do about it (Apple Music compatibility problems, whatever the issue is….). Best to simply use the“No Music” setting and use Apple Music directly.
Sharing your workout: Only on Facebook. No pictures. Suggestion: Add ALL of the options iOS offers.
Efficient for the most part. I just wish he’d say what “complex carbohydrates” are! Seriously. A couple of examples would be great.
I just wish they would be more covered-distance aware. The level of peep-talking could meet the covered distance.
For a year and a half I haven’t seen an update that made ANY improvement to the app, be it aesthetic or aiming at improving the interface.
The method is great. It works, but comes in a ragged, not attractive and cumbersome interface. I just wonder what they could accomplish if they modernized it and actually listened to what people say. I’ve seen the same complaints over and over again and NOTHING is done. They could even have an app that offers the method and you could enter your own time and/or distance that you want to cover for the day, but something tells me that nobody wants to fix this already “perfect” (not!!) product
Apple Watch: ZERO support. Need I say more?
It could be a 5 star app. Today it’s a 2 because there’s so much to be done. I wish they’d fix it. From what I’ve seen they don’t seem to be even paying attention. Pity. This review goes for the Easy 5K and the Easy 10K as well, which i’ve been using every week for the past year and a half. Actually it’s getting ONE today because the lack of updates leads me to believe this is NOT GOING TO HAPPEN.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
