Don’t waste your time nor money

Paid $4 for nothing. I’ve had webcams in the past that connect to my desktop with no effort. I opened the manual. The camera I have was not listed, nor were instructions on how to just use your desktop. Why is this mission impossible? I just want to connect to my desktop and use as a nanny cam.

Beautifully minimalist designed app, but could use some refinements to be great

EasyCam is a beuatifully designed app that enables me to monitor multiple IP cameras (I use two D-Link IP cameras). It was very easy to get the cameras up and running. It is also an amazing value for the price! -as it does the same thing more expensive apps do for a tenth of the price. However, I’m disappointed in a few ommissions, which I hope will be addressed shortly. First, there is no Preference pane, so nothing can be tweaked. For example, currenty, my cameras do not start automatically upon launching the application- I have to manaually go to Camera > Open Recent to launch my cams - a slight inconvenience (have to dock one star). Second, there is no way to hide the “remote” (a window that enables you to move the camera, snap a photo, and adjust brightness). Since my cameras do not support panning, this window is essentially useless to me- and there is no way to close or hide it! So unfortunately, I have to take away two stars. I look forward to a future update correcting this otherwise great app.

Great Video, No Audio

Super-simple to add a camera, but doesn’t support audio streaming. Wished I’d realized that before purchasing.
