Customer Reviews

This is 'Easy' -not a full blown program

Some reviewers have complained there are not enough features. The program is 'EASYenvelopes', and that should be the first clue. Great for those one envelope jobs -or a contact list if necessary. Just the basics. If someone wants more, then there are programs like Labels & Addresses App, etc which lets a person decorate all over the envelope, use shapes, use cvs input, etc. This is great for what it does. Just a simple app to make a simple envelope, but make you look like a 'pro'. I've also used the widget since time began. I like apps that don't requrire me to look up the Help File. For those wishing for all the print options, I marvel that I never have to fiddle with settings or print envelopes which end up in the trash.

Thanks for a quick, easy, dependable, app!

Nice idea, when it works!

I like this little app, but have yet to get it to work! Simply type addresses in the right boxes and print. What could be simpler? When I type in the addresses in their respective boxes, they look perfect in the app window. However, when I attempt to print, the print dialog does not contain the last line in each window. So when I do print an envelope, the last line of each address, which is city/state/zip is missing! Trying to get support is almost impossible, because when I click ‘support’ , Safari gives me the message: "Safari can’t open the page." I would just love to get this app to work because it would help me avoid opening Word just to print a single envelope. And, of course, there is no refund on this app.

Worked the first time I tried it

Envelopes have always been such a pain in the neck, way out of proportion to the seeming complexity of the task. I've been using the widget since forever, and have always loved it. But recently Apple made me buy a new computer (by gratuitously making my phone no longer talk to my 10.6 (the last good MacOS but that's for another review) machine, and I was terrified because the widget didn't work. But it sent me to the web site, which saved me.

A few little quibbles:

1. I miss it being a widget, of which I have only a few, as opposed to an app, of which I have a zillion. So I have to go to extra effort to make it findable.

2. It should have Check Envelope as one of the standard sizes.

3. The web site FAQ should have something about upgrading from the widget. ("Hey, you got the widget free, remember?" would do.) And something on the widget FAQ page (there still is one, although there isn't much in it) saying what the maximum MacOS version for it is.
