EasyOnTheEyes 4+

I have an AOC e1659fwu monitor that I use with my Macbook Pro and the monitor is notoriously bright. I haven’t been able to find a product that dimmed both screens, only my laptop’s screen. This app was easy to install and immediately popped up on my toolbar at the top of my screen. The slider dims both screens at the same time, allowing me to effectively (and finally) dim my AOC monitor. You are still able to adjust the brightness of your laptop screen with your normal keyboard buttons, which only affects your laptop screen. I have recommended this product to all my colleagues and coworkers who have the same issue. Thank you so much for making this, I am very relieved because I was slowly convincing myself to just buy another monitor. You guys have made my work life so much easier and have saved me money!

This app does exactly what it says, and works perfectly. Finally, I can fine-tune my screen my screen brightness below the lowest manufacturer setting. I wish all apps were this easy. Within one minute of deciding to download the app, it was up and running. Customizing the presets took me about 10 seconds to figure out. It has already taken me longer to write this review than it did to install the app, but that’s ok because it’s the middle of the night and my screen isn't blinding me. This has probably been the best app download experience I have had so far. THANK YOU!!!

13” Macbook Pro Retina

Everything works as expected, but the menu bar UI is messed up when you have dark mode enabled! If that can be fixed up (even if it had to be a simple list menu of Off and 1 through 5, or a UI settings change to change those sliders to the desired position, then this would be perfect. This plus night shift really helps. Just keep in mind when switching between spaces using trackpad gestures or moving windows between monitors… the windows will show their full brightness until they’re finished being repositioned. Aside from that quirk it seems ot meet my overall expectations. 5-star if you can fix the weirdness in dark mode. Thanks!
