Love/Hate Relationship With This App
let me start off by saying, I'm head over heels for the concept of this app. taking pictures and being able to visualize what I put in my stomach is a plus, the peer review also makes me think twice about what I'm eating in fear of getting a bad score. alas, the pros of this app do go hand in hand with its cons. there are only 3 choices when rating a particular meal (bad, ok, healthy) and I just don't think that's specific enough. I'd suggest a 1-10 scale instead. also, be wary of some of the users on this app, because you can post something completely healthy (ex. grapes) and end up with a health rating of only 50%. another problem I've discovered is that if you accidentally post an item without putting a description (to ensure others that what you're eating is healthy) you are not able to go back and delete it, thus affecting your overall score. the picture layout is also quite bothersome. instead of seeing all the pictures at once you must tediously go through the pictures one by one. this app really does have a lot of potential and I highly recommend downloading it, it just needs time to establish more features.
Needs new visual layout!
I would love love love to be able to see all the pictures of my food at once! For me that's the entire point... visualizing what I've been eating! I might just move to keeping a folder in my photos on my phone... because of the layout and also because of the users who will rate cheezits higher than home pressed vegetable juice! I won't even try to understand. I like having the peer review option but I'd also like to be able to see my food without the percentages. the creators of this app need to be responsible and realize that many people trying to lose weight or stay at a certain weight could benefit greatly from this app but also suffer from obsessive or compulsive disorders, and eating disorders, among other things..
This App is a genuinely great idea! Posting pictures of your food is a great way to keep track of everything good and bad that you eat. But there are foods that are between "Very Healthy", "It's Ok" and "Not Healthy". Also, if I was going out for a meal and didn't want to use data, it would be great if I could take a picture of my food and upload it from my photo album. This app is so simple and to the point. If only there was an update for this great app to make it even better.
